The good thing is that it is impossible to make it unauthentic as it is pure speculation to start with
True to a high degree. I think we can eliminate the red and white candy stripped schemes.

Wow Steve. That is truly a beastie of proportions! Is it based on your imagination or did someone really plan something like that in the 1920'ties?
I have started on my E10 tank destroyer. It is a well detailed, yet simple kit. I can understand how this AFV was designed for simplicity. Simple suspension with a simple box hull and no turret. All straight lines and what looks like easy manufacturing.
More to follow as this one progresses...

Good start Jesper,
I too would be interested to learn a little about 'Nellie' if you have any info Steve?

I have the transmission/gearbox and engine completed on the Geschutzwagen. They went together really well. No problems, aside from minimal flash, knockout pin marks and mold parting marks so far. It appears these assemblies are going to reappear in the future in other kits. The sprues are produced so they can be dropped into future releases. Perhaps we will see a Trumpeter KT soon?
Because of the gloomy weather, I was unable to shoot any photos. The weather may allow me to shoot some in the morning.

I have come up with ribbon but I can not get it to upload for some reason.
Anybody want to help me figure out why it will not upload to the campign post.

The ribbon needs to be 50 x 20 pixels and less than 3 kb. Then it needs to be a gif file and have a special name which the upload page gives you. If all this is in order then I do not know what could be wrong.
I have made some progress on my E-10. Now I only need to add the sideskirts and then start the painting. I am planning on a hard edged camouflage pattern but I have not decided yet. More to follow.

Thanks, James
It is a pretty easy build OOB - especially since there is no turret or interior.
I think I will paint the camouflage tonight. I have changed my mind from the hard edged pattern and is going for an airbrushed pattern - either green or green/dark brown.

I have made quite a bit of progress on my Geschutzwagen. I actually took some pictures also. I will load them up later.
Jesper, I am happy to hear you will be foregoing the red and white candystripe scheme.

Can't wait to see some of these Geschutzwagen pics, that is a real monster of an AFV!
As for camouflage schemes, it would be nice to see some octopus schemes on some of these late 1945/46 builds.

Does anybody have pictures of the octopus scheme? Then I can do this scheme on my second entry.
I plan on doing an Ostwind next, although it might not qualify for the "max. 12 examples build" campaign limit as around 40 was build.
I guess it does not matter if it is my second entry and it goes into a diorama with the E-10 I am currently building.

I started a build log on the Geschutzwagen. It is under Forums/Campaigns/Big Gun.
Pictures there.

That scheme would really be interesting on the Geschutzwagen.

I'm in.
I'll either dust off my Trumpeter Sturer Emil from the stash or get going on my new Dragon 105mm Heuschrecke IVb.
Perhaps I'll go with the latter since I haven't seen anyone mention that one.
