Ok, so I just realised how little time there is left of this campaign! I have so much left to do on my Maus and am half way through another dio that I need to finish.
Is anyone else in a similar situation? Is there going to be any chance of an extension? I don't want to hold up the campaign or anything. Appologies for leaving this so late, I suppose if I abandon my current project and get on with the Maus I may be almost complete in time, although I don't want to rush it.
I'd appreciate your thoughts,
James

Extension? Nice idea, would fit my book I've lost a lot of time during my finals and got no modelling done for the past three weeks.

John, that is a mean looking E-10 you have made there. The barrel does not look as oversized as I would imagine, but it must still be crammed in there when that thing fires

Yes Jesper,
it's a quite short despite being a 152mm, my other choice was a 100mm gun from a T-54 but it was really long, almost as long as the kit. But i guess this one fitted quite well.
Just had to work a little bit on the small top cover to be a little wider.
So far i've done the side skirts, added the decals too. Still working on the equipment. some more pics soon.

An extension would be good here too as I've not looked at my Minenraumer in about 3 months due to work.

I am not sure there is any way to do an offical extension but I will try. JUst keep working on your stuff. There must be something cosmic going on. Everyone I know has a either trouble with the kit or work issue or ect. I have the rivbbon done and have emailed everyone I can think of becuase I can not get it to load up. Does anyone know how to load it up?

What's wrong is, Mercury is in retrograde!
There's no need for anything official. The campaign leader can make an announcement on the thread stating the extension period and the new ending date and medals are awarded on the new ending date, that's all. Maybe a PM to campaign admins so that they will keep the campaign thread as a sticky topic.
I will start working on one of my E-100s in a day or two, but I doubt both will be finished even with an extension. I should be called "Slow-hand" like Eric Clapton

i'll sure as heck sign up for an extention!
I don't have any time to do anything besides work till the 4th of july (which i intend to celebrate by staying inside and working on models!!!!)
so for my cause, an extension would be very welcome.

If you are wondering why no pioneer tools on it, the Skink actually did not carry them.

Very Interesting Sherman conversion FNC!
I am very grateful for the extension as I have got very behind with my build! However, work has resumed and the interior of my Maus is now finished and painted up:
Verlinden engine, and transmission compartments are done:
As is the drivers compartment:
I'm dedicating all of my modelling time to this build now but am still worried I might not make the deadline!
Fingers crossed!
James

The Skink was based on the Canadian Grizzly tank chassis (M4A1). It was armed with 4 20mm Polston canons, and was intended for anti-air. However, in combat, it was only ever used against ground targets. Reports are that after a builing was attacked with the Skink, the defenders generally did not have much will to fight remaining, and surrendered on mass.

Looks great with the Maus so far, James.
I am looking forward to see it installed in the beast.

everybody's build seems to be going great except for mine. The 3 kits I started all fell thru. Kid lost parts to the Maus, thanks to Neil Strokes I found out there were to many KV-2 model 39 made, and my last project I was done and then found in resreach that they made 6 but then a few months latter made another 12 later so once agin to many. Working on the Panzer 4 that Cyber did with the Nebelwaffen (sp?) on top of it now. Also Thanks to MArk the ribbion is loaded up on the campign site and ready to go.
