Watch out! I am about to unleash 200 tons of steel! (in 1/35 scale of course)
On the left, DML E-100 with the Maus turret. On the right, Trumpeter's E-100 "Ausf. B" with the "Rinaldi" Turret
An idea about the sheer size of these monsters... Yes, the poor thing in between is actually a 3 ton Opel Blitz truck, again in 1/35 scale.
These monsters of steel are taking up so much shelf space that I don't think I will be able to build any more German armor for some time (German shelf is full now )
Off to painting the tracks on the DML E-100, attaching Trumpeter's tracks and then putting on the sideskirts which make the tanks even larger! I think I will use up all of my supplies of Dark Yellow for these... Darn.

Holy Steel....
Huge monsters....
For my choice, still wondering between an E10 and a Dicker Max ..
Will start this weekend, otherwise no time to finish this campaign

OK, the beasts are painted after four hours of work. I feel like I have painted four tanks... such is the size of these monsters. My fingers were numb by the time I have finished.
Here's DML's E-100 in a crazy wiggly scheme:
And the Trumpeter in a much simpler camo... I wonder if I should add dots, as in an "ambush" scheme. This looks way too boring. Yes, I missed the camo line on the left, there will be touch-ups.

This Skink is driving me to drink (more)! It has to be without question the single worst piece of resin I have ever seen. There is more bondo and Mr Surfacer on this beasty then I used on my last 10 models lol. Has anyone else ever done the Panzer Resin Models Skink?

Excellent work, Emre. I especially like the camouflage on the DML E-100.
The barrel on the DML E-100 seems to be turned half way with the muzzle brake at a strange angle. Maybe it is not fixed in place with glue yet?
Looking forward to see these with some markings on them

Sorry, muzzle break is fixed that way. The bottom of it did not fit well into the barrel and it became crooked while it was drying.
Trumpeter E-100 will receive another camo scheme tomorrow. I plan to build it with no markings (night-hunter )

Too bad about the muzzle brake, but I guess that sort of thing could happen in combat
Look forward to see more of these two beasts

Good day -
Here's my completed entry for this campaign. It's DML's 1/35th scale Flakpanther "Coelian", finished in a notional scheme. Built it OOB, added a wire antenna. Tracks are individual links, washed with oils. Needs some heavier weathering, but still working on my techniques. All comments/critiques are welcome, thanks for looking!
Cheers -
Tim

Looks very good, Tim. The suspension could use a little more weathering as you point out yourself. The camouflage is spot on and looks very "1946".
Thanks for participating

before i truly commit what does a campaign entail?
i have heard of them but thats it?
what are the rules and guidelines,
if i was in i would be building a h38 befhelspanzer.
some people dont even think one existed

Thanks Jesper, appreciate it. Good campaign, looking forward to seeing some other ones done...like the "in-progress" work done so far.
Emre - You're outta control! Awesome work on both of your "monsters".

Basicaly you biuld the kit and post photos of it. When it is over, and I get some help, your profile will recive a ribbon for it. I have no ideal what the vechical is you are talking about. Sounds like some verition off a 38(t) chassie so I would say it would be fine.

Naah, not really. I am stuck, can't find a proper camo scheme for my Trumpeter E-100. It is painted in plain Dark yellow once again... What to paint, what to paint?

Go for a hard edge splinter pattern - that could look fantastic on such a big beast! It would also be a good contrast to the camouflage on the DML E-100.

Well, while building the E-10... i was cleaning one half of the gun barrel, then i started looking for the other half... it was under the chair, broken...
Well I took a silly decision but since this tank didn't exist... i got a spare gun barrel from a russian tank...JSU-152... it fits... some pics soon

Wow, it might be a rather hard punch for such a small vehicle.

I changed the "boring" camouflage job on my Trumpeter E-100...
From this:
To this:
What do you think? It still needs serious touch-up, I know, I was impatient and did not mask the places between green and red brown. Will correct that this week.

It looks great, Emre. A vast improvement over the "old" camouflage.
John, that is a serious upgunned version of your E-10. I am looking forward to see it. It will be mean looking I am sure

still have some touch ups to do, the other choice was a T-54 gun barrel, but it was too long, almost as long as the tank...

Here are some shots of the E-10 with Russian Gun Barrel...
The last shot is with a 234/3 for size comparison.

Ok, I have a question/plea.
I was going to do a heuscreck for this campaign, but work has just been hammering me too hard this year for me to get to it. no way now i can hope to finish by the end of the month.
However, I did start a Sturer Emil back in March for the whitewashed campaign that i never finished. got sort of close, but, again, work...
Didn't get a ribbon from that campaign either (obviously).
so my question is, the Sturer Emil would definitely qualify for this campaign. I started it after this campaign started. Would it be shady of me to say I am going to sue it for thie campaign now?
please?
here is what it looks like now:
(don't you think it deserves to be finished and get a ribbon?)
