I'd like to show some progress but now I'm 100% involved in 1/16 T34 for OTEF campaign...
I plan to build my leopold closer to the end of the year (I hope I'll find enough time to finish it before campaign end...)

I haven't started yet, lots of things on my workbench...
But I only have one kit available for this campaign, the Karl.
I wonder why I picked 1-35 scale...should have picked 1-72 or even 1-144...

Hello boys here is the first of many pics. The gun is a Trumpter 1/35 on a 24"x48" inch base. There will be about 30 crew man and 5 to 8 other machines. They always say bigger is better. I should start painting in two weeks.

Nice looking K5. I was planning to add a few figures to my set up as well, but not sure if I right now. Can't wait to see more fo your build.

Hello Everyone,
This will be my first campaign! I have the Trumpeter Karl (1/35, and without the rail thingies) but won't be able to start building it until next week. I plan to do an extremely full build log and hope to make it the best I can with my available resources. I hope y'all will bear with me though

It has been a month since anyone has posted, I hope all is going well. Just about a month and a half until this one is over.
I hope to get some work done on Leopold this week and get some progress posted. Remember the main foucs is on the actual model so if you dio progress is not coming along, that shouldn't stop you from posting.
So far there are a few people donw with thier builds. I hope the rest of us finish as well. Heck, I hope I can finish.
Everyone have a safe and wonderful holiday season, Merry Chirstmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone!

Hi all!
I must confess... I just started... I'm terribly late because I was focused on the OTEF campaign model.
I hope that some small extension will be considered .
I hope to post some first pics soon.

I had been watching your progress on your build log. Looks really nice.
For pictures having a white background does not always work, it can make things too bright. Try a different color, I use a lite blue for most of my picture work.
As you build more you will get a feel for what to do and what looks right the more you work on them.
Don’t worry about seasoned professionals here, we are just a big group of buddies here.

More progress on my K5-E build. I have the gun section pretty much finished. Today if I can get home in time I will give it a coat of Panzer Grey. The rail bed is done, but I am not really happy with its looks, but my main focus is on the gun itself for now.
The rail cars have been finished for a while and are waiting fro the center section to be finished so I can weather everything together. I am still debating if I should add crew, since I am WAY rusty at figures. Heck this will only be the second armor kit I have finished in the past year, so I am doing good just to get it done.
I will add some pictures of my progress after I get the center section painted. I hope the rest of you are doing well.

Well, I got it about 90% done now. All the building is done and I just need to add the decals and weathering. I have the Archer dry transfer decals for the gun. I should be able to get some pictures of the overall prior ro adding the decals tomorrow. The final finish is drying.
These were taken Monday night. More pictures to follow.

Attention fellow BIG GUNNERS. The Campaign has been extended until April 4th. The kind Campaign CIC has granted us this time to finish our builds, so please use this time wisely. I would like to see a good portion of us gte done.
Also, those who have finished make sure to upload pictures to the Campaign folder. If there are any questions, give me a shout!
