Hi All,
Sorry I'm late, but I've been super busy with the upcoming holidays. Will it be OK to post me pics tomorrow?

Hi All,
Thanks Andrzej for the extension! I haven't posted in a few weeks but there have been some developments ....
After some filling/sanding the Panther got its undercoat of ochre. The tracks are on and got there wash. Now all I need to do is give it its winter scheme, decals, wash and some pastel weathering and further detailing and it's done.
Merry Christmas!

Hi mates,
It seems that extension helped some of us . Participating in so many campaigns is difficult (at least for me) and causes many delays in schedules for sure...
@ Greg – nicely planned dio. Trees look somewhat unnatural but it’s a 1/48, right? Too small for my shaky hands…
@ Carl – I love the bottles! You’ve earned a beer (a real one – just come to Krosno, Poland, and I’ll by you one ).
@ Sourkraut – Steyr is a beaut. I do like brushed camo you’ve applied.
@ Arif – it sure is a price winner – give us some info about the show (and what place your KV took). Maybe you could create some report and post it as a feature?
@ Justin – thanks for posting. Great Panzer, although the look of extra track links placed on the front plate have some kind of a strange look. Maybe it’s just a flash lamp reflection.
@ Art – wonderful dio! Please do me a favor and post some bigger pictures!
@Bruce - maybe your Tiger was left alone for so long that it get hungry and ate some of the track links? . My build ended other way - I had to remove few links because tracks were few cms to long (even with the iddlers on full front position). Looking forward to see your tank finnished!
@ Karol - add some more details to the faces of your camarads and you will have a really nice set of figures there .
BTW: some small suggestion if something goes wrong with your post and it doesn't look as it should be please try to edit existing one and not to create another one.
@ George - it is OK even if you post some pics next month - we have extension up to half of February.
@ Mike - which kit is your Panther?
Pheeeww... I have to visit this place more often...
And now - a big finally (at least for me). I've finnished building my beast. Sorry for horrible pictures but my usual place where I take pictures was to small for this monster. Enjoy!
Merry Christmas!
Andrzej

hello Andrej,
great looking T-34 and if i remember right it is a 1/16 scale.if so is it a R/C? that would be fun running it around your house.
per my Tiger 1,the rubber band tracks shrank,i think.i measured them and they are off by 1.25 inches.i hung them up and added some weights to them to see if they would stretch some. if not i am going to try to use thread at put them together and put the ends on the bottom,so no one will notice.
just some all of you know,Blitzkrieg 2:Africa has been approved.this campaign allows anything used in the fighting in Africa.so i think that there will be some great and unusual builds.so,check it out.
cheers,
Bruce

Guys,
Has been a great campaign. The work has been great. I really enjoy the figures,One of these days I will get brave enough to try doing some.
I also looking forward to seeing Mikes Panther when its done, it already is a thing of beauty.
And Andrzej has done a very good looking T34.

@ Bruce - it is 1/16 T-34 from Trumpeter - it's not RC ( ) but it has whole interior - you can see it on my previous pictures somewhere earlier. I want to buy 1/16 RC Tiger tank (I'm convincing my wife that it is for my 7,5 month old son and I want to just test it ).
Concerning Blitzkrieg2 - I've already enlisted .
@ Sourkraut - thanks! I'm happy you like it. Unfortunately pictures are terrible and they do not give jusice to the weathering... .

Andrzej,
CONGRATS on finishing that BIG BEAST. Really nice job!
I'm removing those trees and ordered some Mininatur / Silflor tree material.
Merry X-mas!

@ Art - thanks for making the pictures bigger. Your dio looks great. Man, you've spent some time making the vegetation on it. Great piece of modelmaking.
@ Greg - I've never said that you should remove these trees. Seeing this diorama from 50-100 cm may give totally different effect in this scale. Anyway - please post some photos of the new ones as soon as you got them - I'm not familiar with Mininature, so I'm just more than curious about the look of it.

I was thinking of trying to add color variation to these pre-bought trees, but I think it'll be easier to strip them or start new with the mininatur products. Here's a link to the tree foliage:

Hi,
The Panther Ausf. A got it's winter scheme:
Decals, ac wash, dry brushing and some more weathering and it should be done by new year's!
@Andrzej: Cześc! It's the Revell kit from a few years ago.
Thanks,
Mike.

Hi Guys, Happy New Year to you all!
The extention to the campaign has enabled me to finish another kit. Currently going on a 'bash the stash' campaign myself, using the scientific method of choosing the most battered box first!
German armour is not my specialist subject so corrections and criticisms are most welcome.
The kit is from Italeri with Aber p/e, painted with Vallejo acrylics weathered in pastels and oils.
Enjoyable build will search the stash or more!

Well, I'm done:
This continued to fight me right up to the end, with the fender splitting (twice), the supports for the aerials snapping (twice), the Friul track not fitting underneath the fenders withour some modifcation, and the kit plastic being impervious to most forms of glue. Having said that, I was determined to finish this for the campaign (as opposed to hurling it at the wall and presenting the results as an encounter with a Panzer III). So, here goes...

Someone really needs to do a new T-26 kit. Miniart? Please?

Here's mine, started late so I went small – 1/72 Italeri Kublewagon on small base w/ stone wall.
I've never done snow in a dio. so that's what I'm planning for this.
More to come ...
