Hi, that's it - just please don't delete these pictures before you get your ribbon - I don't want to miss anybody!

BTW: My T34 you've seen before won first prize on XXIII Subcarpathian Paper and Plastic Scale Models Contest

Okay, here's mine, Dragon T-34 built oob. I'm using this on a Kharkov diorama, the t-34's been hit in the rear drive sprocket and then in the transmission. While trying to recover it the crew is run off by German infantry. Now, it's been sitting for a few days and a group of german infantry is moving past it. Or at least that's what the dio will be, for the campaign, all I'll get done is the tank.

Beautifull stuff guys!

I must remind you all that the campaign stops in two weeks and it is a final date - additional two months were enough I believe.
February 15th 2009 is final date for this campaign to end.

I is going to take a while for me to check all your entries and give you all awards... this is the biggest campaing I've seen here so far...

Well for a while there this was looking like a candidate for the next "Get 'er Done" campaign but I finally made it. I'm not happy with the tracks. The Eastern Express needed too much clean up to bother with so I subbed in some old Tamiya ones from the spares box. I console myself that I will replace them with Model Kasten when the budget allows.

Daniel, all I see are red x's!
Gary, that is a nice looking KV, I know what you mean about the tracks too! Must have Fruils or MK's, you might want to look into Lionmarc's tracks as well.I've used several of thier Tiger tracks and they are nice!

Hey guys, sorry for my long absence. Life has just not been working out to allow for much modeling time over the past couple of months.

My Tamiya 1/35 JS-2 is back on the work bench. The lower hull is complete (except for the individual track links) and I'm working on the turret which should be finished tonight. I'll work on the tracks in between paint coats and the decals. I went with the Aber 122mm D-25T Barrel and the Aber Grill Screens for the engine deck.

Hi Daniel,

It seems you did not use typical picture adress, just some sort I don't really understand (looks like code to upload the picture to the destination site) and it seems that I can open it with Opera and Firefox, but if anyone uses IE these pics are red X only... Try to post direct adresses to the pictures using [img ] [ /img] code.

Hi Guys,
My third offering to this campaign. This should have been on the Whitewash Campaign but didn't have time to complete.

Alan T34/85 with miniart figures and a Zvezda stove.

I must say that there are some fantastic builds on this campaign well done everyone.

Dan, Gary, Keith congrats on finishing - very nicely done. I'm going to try to finish this weekend before the deadline.

Keith what is your fire made with? Is it colored paper or gummy bears? It works well

Hi Greg,
the fiery bits are crushed up red and yellow clear plastic from rear light clusers on cars.

As I work for a transport company this is stuff quite easy to come by when vehicles sometimes come back after the brick wall moved into their path as they were reversing!

Hoooorah!!!! I'm done.

1/48 Tamiya KV kits with Gasoline resin Conversions of the KV-85 and SU-152. The German 75mm is an old Bandai.
The KV-85 is my favorite. The hardest part was scratching the rails on both tanks, and I'm amazed they all held with superglue

Nice work!
I really like the green on the KV-85, what paint is that?

How come you're amazed the rails held with superglue? Didn't you drill holes for them?

Hi Eetu, thank you. The hard part of the rails is they are made of little pieces. The long bars hand to stay on top of those 3 little wire posts. The curved KV85 rail needs a strange angle to it to match the turret. I used Vallejo russian green mixed with white to give some variation between the tanks. I did 1 selective filter of darker green on shadow portions.

Oh, of course. I didn't think of that.
I remember doing similar grab handles. Somewhat tricky indeed. Thinking about it now, filing a notch on top of the rails in the middle would make them easier to install. The main rail wouldn't slip off that easily.

Even though there's still time, I think I'll have to admit that I'm just not going to be able to finish my T-70 within the deadline. Anyway, it has been fun seeing all these builds started, worked on, and finished; something I wish I could accomplish much more often.

Here is my JS-2 in progress and near completion. It is the Tamiya kit out of the box, I needed something to work on that was relaxing without a lot of cutting etc. I apologize on the quality of the pics, I need to find some background paper for my photos.

I used Vallejo Model Air (Russian Green) for the base over Tamiya NATO Black & Primer. I shaded areas with a lightened Russian Green, applied a Ochre filter, and then seal with Future.

I have since applied some fading (dot filters) effects, and I am currently applying pin washing techniques. I hope to have the kit completed within the next week or so. The upper hull has not been glued down yet. Overall the Tamiya kit is a real Gem.

Greetings all! As usual some pretty fantastic builds in this campaign. I started mine a little late as I only received it as a gift from my SWMBO at Christmas. Here's some pictures of the kit and progress shots to date. I started vacation today and with a bit of luck will be done by the deadline. I'd have posted earlier but I was between Internet providers.

Only my third kit since getting back into the hobby and not a few problems, including incorrect instruction diagrams.

hello all,
my Tiger 1 is done and i even made a little dio for it.i will post photo's this weekend here at in the gallery.
i did not do ant weathering as i have been in the body shop again.they had to replace my replacement knee joint, had to fight off a very bad infection in the old joint and had 2 slight heart attacks. But i did get it done.
there has been some great builds here and i would think there are some winners in the modeling contests to come.
cheers,
Bruce
