Hi,
"Would there happen to be room for me and my tank as well?" says he:
It popped in my mind that the T-70 I started building this summer could make an entry. What do you say, is this ok?

Hi Eetu.
I have an answer for your tank crewman: it depends on how big his tank is .
Sure you're welcome!
Nice works so far, so keep posting also in this forum (or at least inform us when you make some progress and post in on already started thread.
Welcome!
Andrzej

Thanks!
Just enlisted, say hello to the newest campaign participant.
Now that I just started the thread for it, I'll post a heads-up here whenever I post more progress to the actual build thread.

Hi again,
We already have 79 people enlisted - it seems that this campaign was hitting a nail in the head. Unfortunately this campaign idea creator did not show here for a while.
To avoid acusations that I'm only welcoming newcomers I want to post few pics of my WIP:
Hope you like it so far!

Hi everyone, I'm still recent to this website and just found the thread here even though I signed up awhile ago for this campaign . Some great looking builds and ideas out there!!! The SU-152 in 1/48 is my entry within a diorama entilted "meeting of the ultimate KV's." This is a older photo but I haven't gotten much further with it yet.

Okay folks I will be jumping in on this one. My name is Jim and I am doing a Tiger I from Lenningrad. I am using DML's kit and doing 111. Should hopefully have some images tomrrow of by Monday the latest. Take care.
Here is where I am at this point:
Interior torsion bars are installed.
Engines are assembled and installed.
Front glacious and rear plates are installed.
Road wheels are removed from sprues and sanded, ready for action.
Turret has been sanded to remove the brackets on the rear.
The gun has been installed, as I am not painting the interior as the hatches will all be sealed
the few pieces at the back have not and will not be installed. I just assembled what I needed.
The engine deck has been modified as Pat Stansell did with his in MMIR's Tiger book, and the
rear grates have been assembled.
No painting is done as of yet.
My next steps are to remove the side lines for the side buckets and then to coat the textured areas with Mr. Surfacer 1000. Once that is done I can go ahead and make some construction progress with the upper deck, turret and lower portions of the hull. I'll be in touch with some images soon.
Jim

My BT-7 in progress...
I'm not liking this kit, so I'll try some new experiences and get some other builds for this campaign after this, maybe a KV-1 and KV-2 ...

@ James,
I've seen your build and it looks very promising. I have this kit in my stash so it's even more interesting for me.
Everyone interested may see James' Tiger HERE

John, your build looks great so far! Could you post also some bigger pics? I'm not able to enjoy all details of your model with your pics so small and my vision so blurry (or maybe it's the beer, not the picture size ).

John,
Your BT-7 looks pretty good, the weathering looks very good. The pics look a little on the dark.
James,
I have one of the DML Initial Tiger I's in the stash so keep us posted on the progress. Your project looks very good.
Best Regards,

John, you BT-7 looks good - nice heavy weathering. Like the others I would also like to see a couple of bigger pictures if possible.
I have decided to go for second entry for this campaign. I got the (crazy?) idea to show the development of German WWII tank destroyers in a display case. I build the Marder II as my first entry and will now build the PzJg. I.
For the upcoming "Big Cat" campaign I will build the Jagdtiger. They should look interesting side by side.
More to follow
