I "ve had an idea along these lines for sometime. Just hope there's enough time to get it done, as my model shop is at the weekend place, hence my modelling time is somewhat constricted.
It will be a WWII diorama entitled "homecoming"....

Tell me about it...
Don't worry mate. If your work is not ready at the deadline we can always consider some extension.

Hi Julien,
It's nice to see you with us!
@ All: Small update from my side: I've started to cut my Panther tank (it will be partially sunk and I don't want to use 5l of resin therefore it will be cut just below the waterline).

Andrzej -
With coaching baseball done for the year, I've finally got some extra time to get back into modeling. I just ran across your great idea and plan to jump into this Campaign. I'm thinking of getting out my Tamiya Pz III 'J' from stash and do it up as Afrika Korp, knocked out with crew retreating. Other idea would be for a King Tiger (Battle of Bulge) from sSSPzAbt 501 knocked out at La Gleize. Good to get back into again. Thanks,
Blade48mrd

Mike - I love both your ideas and I'm very happy that you like mine concerning the campaign.
It's great to have you with us.
I'm still organizing my workplace after furniture replacement so it's hard to start the work on this subject... I'm still cutting my Panther to make it look like sunk in deep water near the river bank.
I hope to post some pics as soon as the model is completed.

Thanks for the gallery and thread’s name change Mark!
To All:
Maybe you’ve seen that some time ago, after On the eastern front campaign a feature showing participants entries has been created. (You can find it HERE). Right now we’re awaiting also for Airborne campaign feature.
I do think that it is good idea to make features summarizing our work during the campaigns so I would like to ask you to keep the pictures of finished dioramas in good quality, focused, well lit and at least 800x600.
Let’s make it worth watching .
Thanks in advance!
Andrzej

Hello Andrezej,
My idea for this campaign will be a diorama with converted figures only.
I had the project since some months to build white russian soldiers, after having bought the Osprey book on it. They will be retreating after a battle against the reds. I will try to represent as much as I can colourfull regiment.
There will be 3 or 4 soldiers, one of them being a mounted officer.
Does this is suitable for the campaign ?
Best,
Julien

hi , it isn't a diorama already it was a stand alone aircraft model that was broken , so it is being built as a specific aircraft that was shot down so it is realy a complete re build and setting in a completely new diorama
i will insert link to the build started on here and in the time frame !!

@ Paul James (BTW: which is your first name? )
Basically the idea of campaign is to work together from the beginning to the end but since your diorama is not started and you have to basically rebuild (redamage ) and repaint whole model I'm going to allow this one. I hope everybody else is comfortable with that.
Welcome!
I have some hard time painting my models for Blitzkrieg 2 and Cold War campaigns and I do want to finish that builds before I start a new one… So my Panther lays cut as it was left two weeks ago…

At least one picture of finished model has to be submitted to campaign's gallery:
http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/24750
Please keep pics 800x600 and in good quality (I want to make summary photo feature).
You can continue your thread, just place picture of finished model in gallery and inform us here from time to time about your progress.

Hola companeros,
I was able this week end to work on my white russians figures.
I'm using magic sculpt which is great !
I have only pictures of one men (I've made two others).
He belongs to formers reds batallion turned to white.
He will be followed by a cadet, a cossack and a mounted general.
Crtitics and comments welcomed.

I cannot sculpt at all so I'm not in position to grade your work, but I have to say that except the metal strip that needs small adjustment it looks great. I do love the haircut (especially the sideburns ).
Keep it coming mate!

Thanks André,
The metal stripe is not yet glued, it will be the stripe of the rifle he will have in his back.
Yeah the haircut is somewhat rock n' roll
Best,
Julien

I'd like to enter in this one, but finances dictate otherwise, but fits a story my father told me (U.S. Army DUKW driver) about passing through all the towns with the Injured Civvies and not knowing if it was us or the germans that hurt/killed so many of them, still has a hard time when talking about it, so if someone wants to do it and throw in a destroyed german rig, the ideas there

The same buddy, but with some color on it.
The pics are poor, I took them this morning with the rising sun.
Let's say he is 60% completed.
I will post pics of the others Popov later.
