I just checked back and noticed that the banners for this campaign weren't in this thread (the ribbon issue brought it to mind). I went back to the older campaign proposal and and found the two that Emre approved so here they are.
Here's a simple one:
Something a bit more busy:
Here's some other potentials for a ribbon.

Cool! I think the busier banner is the one I'll use. The cool thing about banners is that they can be busy!
Also a cool idea of using tire treads like the colors of a ribbon. Unfortunately sizing the banners down to ribbon size makes everything too fuzzy. I will work on this idea!

@ Gary and Jan:
I like all of the ribbons, cannot choose so I go with what ever the majority picks.

Here's my take on the tread theme. Again, not sure about the colors. The "mud" on the treads kind of wash the effect out. The background green might be too dark.

Nice banners and ribbons. Btw, one question: can I have two banners as a sig at same time, one above other, or is it limited for only one at a time? Can I show all my campaign ribbons at the same time as a group on my sig area inside a box, as some of the forum members have??
Like erdju007 has in his sig, I mean.

Hi all!
It´s ready. Tamiya DAK Kübelwagen, that is. After more than a month delay, caused by health problems and couple set backs with windscreen frame, it finally has it´s place on my finished kits section.

You can show only one full size banner at a time. What some people do is to mash banners together. You can do it by resizing the banners to be smaller then pasting them all into one image (which can't be bigger than a full size banner). Another way I've seen is to add the images as a GIF Animation so that the full size banners sequence. I'm not sure how to do that.
Putting all your campaign ribbons into your signature means creating a banner size image with little copies of your ribbons. This means mashing them together yourself with a graphics editor program.

I prefer the 1st set that you made, the one with the jeep+the armored car, yellow background.

Glad to see the campaign is moving forward fast in new hands, thanks a lot Gary!
One easy method of showing all your medals is to use Paint. Just copy them individually, paste them on a new project and save as a JPG file.
One question Gary. My entry for this campaign was incomplete, as I had to turnover the model to another friend who wanted to use it in a diorama. Should I build a new model to be eligible for a medal? I might just squeeze one between the house reconstruction and my military posting, as I'll have a little over three weeks in between.

If you want to switch to another model, that's totally fine. I think anyone should be able change their mind on what they are building.

Well, here is my finished model for this campaign, hope you like it. it is the Italeri kit, very simple but nice kit. no after market, not much decals, just relax and build it.
There is a couple more in the campaign gallery.

Excellent work in this campaign. Miroslav and Kimmo, I especially like your entries. Great work!
I have signed up myself. I will make an AB 40 armoured car for this campaign. It will be a good excuse to make some heavy mottling with the airbrush

Tanks Jesper! Glad you liked it. That Kübelwagen was very close ending up to carbage bin because I managed to break the windscreenframe three times during assembly. But I forced myself to finish it. Don´t like giving up, even with kit, that has poor quality or owns a bad karma..

Dear all,
I enlisted a while ago, but have been silently watching some great builds until now. However, as the paint dries on my Mighty 88 campaign entries it's time to think about my own wheelie! The one thing noted by its absence here is the humble 2 1/2ton CCKW 353 truck that won WWII, so guess what I'm planning? I have four of them (one each from Tamiya, Italeri, Heller, & ICM) so the tricky part is choosing which to start.
My dad learned to drive in one back in '45, so they have a special place in my heart. Apparently a quick tour of the cab, followed by "once around the Motor Pool", and anyone who got back in one piece was duly appointed as Army driver on the spot...
Pics to come soon.

I will be handing the reins of this campaign over to endrju007 (Andrzej Snigorski). I feel that he will better serve this campaign since he's also enlisted in it (unlike me).

Thank you Gary and Robert!
Ha Ha it's MINE!!
My first decision concerning this campaign: All ribbons you will earn during this campaign will go to my profile!! Ha Ha (diabolical laughter)....
Ok, seriously... I'll do my best to fill the gap left by Emre The Military Man and to keep this campaign running without any problems.
Andrzej.

I think it's time to start building something for this campaing. I've started building M1025 from Academy. To be honest the model is not the best one I've seen... I really don't like models where I have to use force to match to parts together - this one is one of them...

Hey all,
Went to a show this weekend to help hold down the club's table, and brought an Italeri jeep to pass the time. Loks like it's another Wheelies entry! (Still doin' the truck, though.)

@ Andrzej: I had not seen this kit, but it sure looks detailed underneath. Good job so far.
@ Tom: That looks like an old Aurora kit box that your tools are in. The Jeep does look like fun, I guess I will have to find one on this side of the pond.

Thanks Robert! It sure is detailed but in the same time it means that there are more parts I had to assemble using a force... good fit was not designers goal...
