AJ thanks for the offer but I believe that things are pretty well in hand. 
For everyone else, the pictures are pretty much complete and they are quite something.
We have taken them from both the official gallery and from these pages (119 of them). My deepest thanks to all the volunteers that have helped in numerous ways and especially to firstcircle (Matthew) for all his tireless work in sizing and captioning. What remains to be done is for myself and a couple of the volunteers to make sure that all the images are proper and correct. I have several drafts for the accompanying text and hope to complete that shortly. Thanks for your patience and I will post here if I have any further information.

sorry firstly to Jan regarding late posting of finished pics. My normal model pic camera is charging so I had to take pics using my everyday camera, a Canon SX120 IS.
Turned out pretty nicely even without the tripod.

IT's turned out to be quite the campaign.@sabredog - Well, it's about time Michael.
At least we can now complete the feature; providing nothing else goes wrong.

So yeah, what's the follow on? Airfix Superdetail campaign? Fujimi would be cool but they're a bit hard to find (same goes for the Hasegawa I think).

@sabredog - Michael, the pictures are just fine and I uploaded them to our "working" gallery. They are now in firstcircle's talented hands for formatting.
Stefan, to keep things small I reduced the resolution and colour depth. I didn't want to spoil the effect of the Feature so I purposely sped things up so you get a taste but not a full effect. I used Apple's iLife software to create the video and it comes with quite a selection of sound effects and royalty free music snippets. The air raid siren is followed by one called "Medal Ceremony" and the last bit is called "Vintage News."
I still haven't finished with this campaign and you are about the fifteenth individual to bring up a follow on campaign. I really think that a discussion of that should receive it's own thread in this forum. However, it's not like I haven't given the idea some thought. I'll break my above rule and mention that the top running proposals at this point are:
1/76 Airfix Superdetail
Anything 1/76 (1/76 Forever)
Braille Busters/Builders -anything 1/72 or smaller.
Matchbox Superdetail or Son Of Matchbox Nostalgia
Once everything pertaining to this campaign is complete I'll launch a thread for proposals. In the mean time I have to stay focussed.

Once again tread_geek and Matchbox inspire: appearance of LittleFirstCircle's T-34 in movie, followed by a non-Matchbox back up SU-122. These are the only ones not glued to the base, you see. Managed to find appropriate non-copyright music as well.

@firstcircle - Positively fabulous, Matthew. I swear that I can almost make out the treads moving! Did you use a series of stills to make the video or a camcorder? If I may be so bold, you could do a feature article on the process you used to make the production.

I agree that now it's looks all jumpy and scratched like an old movie, and has that lens flare effect, your imagination takes over and you almost think you can see the tracks turning... funny the way they clunk up onto the Matchbox base and then drop off it again.It's 225 still photos. It was when compressing photos in a batch with PaintShopPro I realised I could use it to make a large quantity of photos small enough to be stills for a movie, so it only took a few mins to get them down to around 100kb per photo, then imported into Animation Shop (comes with PSP) which joined them together into an .avi, and compressed it further. Then imported into Ulead Video Studio for the visual effects and the audio, and saved as a .wmv, as that gave the best compression, just 750kb. The music is from a site that does fee-free and copyright-free classical mp3s, called musopen.com.
Have to point out that there are some hilarious stop motion movies on YouTube with plastic toy soldiers and tanks, complete with cotton wool smoke and melting heads - none of them what you might call "realistic" though.

Thank you, Matthew. I somewhat figured that for a nine second vid you'd require around 9X30 = 270 or so frames. I still think the idea of a feature is viable but, do we really want to share all our secrets.
I just submitted my latest review and am polishing up the MNC feature. After that we might distract ourselves with arranging another and somewhat similar campaign.
