Okay, here's the ribbon that I came up with:

And here's one option for a banner:

Hope you like them, I'll try to come up with more banner options ASAP.

zaltar

Hello Zaltar,
I like them both, Thanks for doing them for the campaign.
Now how do you post them to the campaign page? Everytime I try nothing happens. Maybe one of the staff can help?
Thanks again,
Cheers,
Bruce

Count me in. I'm sure I can find a suitable model within that time frame.

No problem, Bruce, I love photoshopping. To post the banner, look in the top right corner of the Campaign page. With you being the admin, it will show: Admin [EDIT]. Click on the edit button and then in the screen that follows, you'll find a box saying _BANNERIMAGE. Then, to get the image there, you'll need the IMG code for the picture. It is: http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss242/zaltar_models/BlitzkriegIIIBanner.jpg

I got rid of the [IMG] enclosers at the beginning and end in the given address, because otherwise it will automatically place the image there. After you paste it into the box, just put them back in.

To put in the ribbon, it has to be saved in your computer as "345.gif". Then you upload it in where it says Admin: Add/Update Award Image.

Hope this helps

I have a flak 38 and a diorama that are waiting to be built, but I don't Know if I can get the metal barrel and the elements for the dio in time for November 1.

I'm excited because it will be my first dio.

Gabriel.

Gabriel,
You don't need all your elements by November 1, you just can't start your build until then. Welcome aboard

Can I ask whether a 88mm Flak 37 as seen on Sicily or in Rome would be allowed? The rules are

2) Any vehicle, ship, aircraft, etc that fought during the time-line is allowed

Not really a vehicle so not sure but am looking for an excuse to break this kit out.

Jeremy, go for it who needs sleep
vonMarshall, I'm not the campaign leader but since rule #2 says "Any vehicle, ship, aircraft, etc that fought during the time-line is allowed" that it would qualify under the etc

Lol, very well then Sal! I'll see what I can dig up for this campaign.

vonMarshall: I'm pretty certain the rules are meant to include all equipment used, so your 37 should be just fine.

In that case I am definately in! Goering had a lot of gear in Sicily and Rome including quite a few 88's. Cannot wait to break this kit out. Roll on November 1st!

I may use an example of Goering's equipment as well in the form of an AA halftrack.

He was a big player in the whole Italy campaign.

Quite a bit of his gear was either saved from Tunisia and made it back via Sicily to the mainland or was equipment destined for Africa that was sitting on Sardinia as the troops were trained but was sent directly to Sicily or Italy instead. Therefore there is a lot of options open to the modeller rangeing from beaten up ex-desert gear through tropical-prepared new gear through all of the stuff thrown into Italy in 1943. A lot of the AA stuff was in Rome too which offers great diorama potential.

I actually have the AFV Club 251/17 Luftwaffe in my stash but am about to start that in the Targers Shoot Back campaign. It is a fantastic model if you have not selected your halftrack yet.

I hear ya Sal, I keep going through the same thing myself. And if it's not work, it's family issues of some sort. Have a cold one bud

Well since it is the official start date for this campaign I thought I would show what I am going to be using.

1/35 Tamiya Sd.Kfz2 Kleines Kettenkraftrad

And some of the accessories I will be using to build a vignette.

The round yellow item is a jar lid that I will be using for a base.

Thanks for the reminder Bruce !!! You are a man true to your word........

Ok, just need to finish up the 1/16 thingy I'm almost done with and the old Tamiya Panzer IV and then I will start this. I have no idea now what I shall do. Time to break out some of those reference books and look at pictures for inspiration............

Ok guys, the start to this one has arrived and I started today by putting together the road wheels to my SdKfz.7/1. Feels like i just built 1 of these, oh wait i did for Targets that Shoot Back Campaign But this 1 wont have AA guns on the back. It will be part of the Hermann Goring Panzer Division. Yesterday I looked at over 150 pictures of SdKfz7/1, all black & white, so my question is this; What color were the Luftwaffe trucks painted for the Italy campaign

@ Harvey you love those jar top this 1 looks to big to be peanut butter

Let the fun begin

I'm leaning towards grey Sal, that's what color the Goring halftrack I'm likely to build is supposed to be.
