Id like to propose I campaign, my first in doing so. Would anyone be interested in a campaign designed at modeling a specific photo? The general rule being, using one photo of a soldier, vehicle, plane ship..whatever you desire, but you must model that photo in detail. It doesnt have to be complex. Just something to get the 'historian' juices going.

I suppose I should state a few specifics. The entries should be accompanied by the photo you intend to model.
The project can be a little started before the begin date..but Id say no more than I few minor assemblies at most ..
progress photos would be a must (no submitting a finished photo only and stating your done)
anything else I should include?

Tim,
I like the idea! If it starts in June, can it run long to say Feb '11? (I'm signed up to two others that run June-December already.) I have something ambitious in mind...

hey Tom, looks like a good idea.. there looks to be most of the campaigns in around december, so Feb would give some extra time for anyone finishing up in the others.

I see the time frame is WWI to present, but if the idea is to model a photo, shouldn't the time frame be the American Civil War (or Crimean War)?

awesome! thanks Gary!
Matthew, I suppose it could, and considered it, but honestly didnt figure anyone would want to go that early. mainly because there were no armor vehicles prior to WWI.

I'm in. Now to pick a picture. I have several in mind but I guess that is the problem. I just need to narrow it down.
Thanks for the campaign idea Tim.

Point taken. I wasn't trying to bust your chops, I'm still on the fence about this campaign.

I'm all for this one, Thanks for starting it up.
Modeling by photo is about all I do anymore, most of the fun is the research.
Again the problem of which photo to select......
Thanks again,
Bob
