My CV will be French Blue sides with Black roof fenders and wheels , with a "nickel" grille, tan insides. I am off today, so the kit is almost ready to paint.

A little out of focus, but awesome build! That's a sharp color scheme, and you seem to have a clean, detailed build there.

I used french blue hobby acrylic (let it dry) taped it over with Tamiya yellow tape, shot alcad gloss black laquer, and pulled tape so no ridge between colors. It's not a high gloss, but in war time, you just can't get Mc Guires, or turtle wax!

That's a really neat-looking car you got there! I took a different route, using Tamiya Sky Blue and Royal Blue, as well as Humbrol Metalcote polished aluminium.



Still got a ways to go yet.

Tom your car looks equally nice. cant go wrong with blue on a car lol!
Reds need to be the right shade in order to look well.

You are correct, Mat. The old Matchbox kits all come with a small diorama base. Some of them are pretty good - especially with a little extra detailling.

I will make it for this campaign, so you can see what I get from it.

Lots of great builds so far! I'm going to do something a little different:



Started working on the drop container, the bike itself will need a little bit of planning.



By the way, if anyone has any info on markings for both the bike and the container, I'm all ears! The instructions aren't very clear in that regard, and contradict the picture on the package.

Interesting choice, Mark. Definitely something out of the ordinary.

I have made a little more progress on my M-19 tank transporter. So far it is a breeze to build as is often the case with Matchbox kits.

A little more progress on the tank transporter. Next is the weathering.

A little more progress. on the kit. Weathering is half done. The load of the trailer which is a Comet tank is finished. (See British armour campaign)

Expect to have it finished soon.

Here is my finished entry: the 1/76 Matchbox M-19 tank transporter. It is a great little kit that goes together very well.
The only problem being the lack of front windows(!). A strange obmission from Matchbox side - even by 1980'ties standard. I tried cutting windows from clear styrene, but I cannot make them fit properly.
I am using a Comet (my entry for the Birtish armour campaign) as a load.

That was my fault. I had the campaign in my files as ending 9/3 instead of 9/30.
