Ron, looks like you'll have to get creative with the left-over sprues from the box! (I'm fairly sure I could whittle most of my needs from old sprue...)

Seriously though, I'll be up for this as a "speed build" to help clear the shelves of kits that seemed interesting way back when I bought them but no longer hold enough interest to warrant the AMS touch.

Tom

PS: Scott, I assume the Rules will require us to post a shot of the "completed but unpainted" kit to prove there's no tell-tale white plastic or shiny etch?

Unless PE was included into kit, do you have to post a scan of instructions to prove it?

Scott: It seems like there is still a bit of confusion about this campaign. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems like what you are laying down as the rules and guideline on the campaign:

Start Time: June/July 2011 (preferably July if you can)
Run Time: 6 monthes

Scale: All

Rules:
Strictly OOB
-this includes any figures, PE, or other multimedia originally included in the kit
NO aftermarket of any kind, including but not limited to:
-Figures
-PE
-Decals
-Tow Cables
-Tracks or Wheels
-Conversions/Interiors
NO scratchbuilding of any kind

Requirements:
(1) Photo of unstarted kit showing ALL parts included in the kit
-submitted to campaign gallery
-(include a picture of instructions or box contents pic if PE/etc is included)
(1) Photo of built kit or subassemblies before applying paint or primer
-submitted to campaign gallery
(1) Photo of finished model
-submitted to campaign gallery
Must have fun!!

Sound about right?

Awesome. Hope that helps clarify any remaining confusion about your campaign.

Consider me enlisted, making final decision on the kit I'm going to use

The no AM figure rule could be an issue for me, but I suppose I could always build one of my options and add the crew after the campaign. Heck two of the kits I am thinking of didn't come with figures and knowing my track record I will be lucky to finsh the campaign anyway.

Jeremy,

I think those photos of ALL the parts, and the unpainted model are not necessary. If I say that I am building DML'S Jagdpanther w/zimm,then that should suffice, you could look the kit up if you want.If you want that start picture with the kit thats fine, but all of this proof ? It's just a fun group build, why would I lie and sneak AM on to the model. If you want to build with AM then why join this campaign ? it's not a contest. Were all big boys and girls, what we say we are doing should be good enough. If someone really wants to violate the rules,I'm sure they can figure out how,but to what end ? just to earn a ribbon ? Lets just keep it simple and have fun.

Anthony: You misunderstand, I'm not making any rules here. What you saw was just a culmination of concerns and answers between some of the guys and Scott about this campaign. There are a few who are concerned about proving whether or not a kit has been modified before painting, etc. and suggestions have been made buy Scott and fellow modelers regarding this, and that is what you see compiled in my earlier post.

I personally don't mind presenting the photos, it is certainly a fair request for the campaign. I myself trust those I've met on here to stick to rules and such, and if one of you guys or gals tells me something, then I'll take your word for it
