Dutchboy, Jan, Scott. Thanks to you. I went on painting on my little tiger. I will finish it tomorrow or the day after. These are the last photos:
Painting did not satisfied me. Nevertheless, at least it is a Tiger.

So here’s an update, (still can’t believe I managed to get a picture into the gallery) if I am not able to post another picture by the deadline … this picture will be my finalized build (without the weathering):

@Burak: What's not to like Burak? Field applied camo was often applied with a brush so your Tiger is not to far from the truth. As well the olive and red brown colours were thinned from a paste to spray or paint so there was great variation. The yellow colour was sprayed at the factory and then the top coat applied in the field by the Tigers respective crews. All done of course to the current regulations concerning the application of the camo, which varied according to the time period. But at the end of the day if it looks like a tiger and you enjoyed the build then it's a build well done in my books!
@Vladimir: Nice Stummel! I've built a couple in 1/72 but I've been wanting to do one in 1/35. If you don't get to weather it in time factory fresh is always good! The build looked like it went together quite well with few problems and I think that when I build one in this scale I'll use the kit you've built!
@Jan: Nice Chi Ha! I'm still liking this Dragon kitset Jan! Hmmmm or is it merely the craftsmanship of the modeller? LOL prolly both! I like the acrylic medium Jan, I've been familiar with it for years as my wife and daughters are all artists and very talented. I snaffeled some to try out as a mud and sand medium to use when weathering armour and subscribe to the less is more theory. Which to be fair isn't that often as I prefer wingy things.

@Chris - Thank you for you comments, I try to always experiment with each build and share my findings. If you have acrylic artists in you family, I am sure they may be able to offer you some things that might be usable in our hobby. If you are interested, drop in at the Chi Ha Blog in the AFV/Braille forum of this site. I still have a trick or two I'd like to try and a potential base to make.
Cheers,
Jan

Hey Guys !
I'm calling this one done.
I acheived what I wanted to which was learn how to do Luftwaffe Mottling. The weathering could be better, but my next Luftwaffe machine will be a lot nicer
I'm trying to upload Pics to the gallery also ( busy server )- thanks for a great campaign
Cheers
Paul

Finished just in time!! I'll upload pictures to the campaign gallery as soon as I get a chance. Thanks to Scott for running the campaign, and thanks to everyone else for your inspirational builds!
Despite the fact that this is not the greatest braille scale kit I've built, I think this Sherman came out pretty well. I may still do a few touch-ups later, but it's done for this campaign. And now for some pictures:

Scott,
Thanks for the "shiny" new ribbon to adorn my profile page. As I mentioned earlier, this was a great campaign to show what can be done with just a plain kit. Hope to see you and some of the other participants in some future campaign.
Cheers,
Jan

Just saw my new ribbon, thanks for the campaign. As I never use after market this was a awesome build for me and the Academy 1/72 FW-190D was cheap (10.00) and went together pretty well. So it was fun to do.

We are getting there. At this point only 2 campaigns need ribbons awarded. Stan is working on awarding ribbons for the British Armour campaign. Dezzy hasn't been online since January 4 so I will probably be awarding ribbons for "Total Tamiya" in the next few days (as long as the Kitmaker Gallery cooperates).
