The mad place that is my brain came up with yet another idea.
Like the title says a strictly out of the box campaign, the idea would to build anything you want, so long as it out of the box. So no after market parts or PE ETC.
What do you think?

There are a lot of really nice kits out there that don't really need AM goodies. I think this campaign also works for people who have older outdated kits in their collections that really are worth extensively upgrading, and this campaign would give a reason to get such kits built.
What is your thought on a time frame for this campaign?

I'm in. Have a lot of kits without PE details. What are you thinking of a start date?

Very attempting idea, Scott. IŽm sure youŽll get enough people for this campaign. Me, unfortunately, have enlisted into three campaigns already and have to therefore pass this. I donŽt wanna get stressed with these campaigns. Only, if you start this late next year, I would consider but it wouldnŽt be realistic as campaign timeline.

I agree with this campaign starting next year. Late Spring or early Summber would be a good start time I think. There are A LOT of campaigns going on during the course of this next year or so...

A lot of kits come with pe included.Would those kits be ok as long as you didn't buy extra parts ? I could join early next year, perhaps DML's Jagpanther w/zimm.

So long as the PE is included in the kit it will be allowed. Just no after market PE or accessories. how about 1st April for a start date?

Sounds good mate, still need to see how I can adjust my workflow to accommodate all of these campaigns before I commit to this one, but I am interested.

Scott,
This sounds great to me being that I only built OOB and never purchased any AM for any of my kits. But With all the great campaigns starting I would have to agree with Jeremy quote above
Maybe like a 6 month long time frame

How about moving the date back to June/July?
Posted: Sunday, September 05, 2010 - 07:30 AM UTC
I would be interested in a OOB Campaign. Even though I am getting more and more into aftermarket goodies I would love to see a Campaign like this. I would probably do mine OOB and a Fresh Paint Job! Clean and Neat!

If this starts on June or July, IŽm interested. On that time, I have most of my campaigns over by then.

I'm in. I just got two kits yesterday that I was planning to get the PE/AM for, but PE scares me and one set would cost five times what I paid for one kit, not to mention AM stuff, that could run ten times what I paid for either of the kits ! I assume figures (crew)do not count as AM. Late spring early summer works for me, to much going on between now and then.

June/July sounds ok, as long as it runs 6 months or longer. I have a few kits that would look great OOB. Consider me a tentative enlistee... along with Sal if I'm not mistaken?

OK so you ale all happy with a June start for this one/ It will run for 6 months, any kit in any scale so long as it is an out of the box build, No PE or accessories unless it is supplied with the kit.
How dose that sound guys?

Scott,
That sounds perfect to me, a mid 2011 start would give me the chance to get all my other campaign builds out of the way.
