Hello everyone.
its been a while since I've done any building due to some life issues here in the family.
Anyway I have finally got some painting done on the carrier. got the base coat on the figures done and also the base coat on the Carrier.
I'm using Humbrol 159 khaki drab for my starting point on the carrier and Model Master 1702 field drab on the figures.
here are a couple of photos.
these are also my first photos with my kodak 16mp camera I picked up at Wal-Mart last week.. was marked down to $100 the re-marked down to $60, and I just couldn't pass up the bargin.

Slowly plugging away at the Staghound. Just have to add some PE and some clear bits and the build will be done.

Detail Painting and Decals
Got Some more work done on the carrier today. Mainly a lot of Detail hand painting.
I normally do the tracks separate from the rest of the model, but I tried something different this time and I am painting the tracks in place.
It looks glossy because of the future coat, and the colors will shift to a more drab tone once I start the wash and weathering.
I also did a little work on the figures, but I'm not that good with them.
here are the photos.
Thats it for now.

Hello everyone
I have never built any allied armour before in 1:35 scale, so I hope I have time to finish.
I began building an M3 Lee about a month ago. The old Tamiya kit that suddenly reappeared in my local shop and it seem very tempting.
I have always liked the look of the huge M3 Lee, so it seemed like a fun and easy build OOB.
So far, the lower part is almost done as well as the upper hull. I've added some old plaster casts inside the lower hull to give the vehicle some weight. That way it sinks more into the landscape, preventing that 'floatly' look.
I hope I have time to finish it before sunday :-)

everybody,
Although my T-34 doesn't need much more work, there's no way I'm going to get it finished in time due to RL getting in the way - so, I've had no choice but to resign my campaign entry.
Dierk, off to my sorrows

Unfortunately, DIERK missed my post of there being an extension request. If anybody else feels that they won't be able to complete their build by the deadline, please notify me for a possible extension.

I got the tracks on my M4, got the decals done, and gave it a black wash. Racing to get this done before the end date on the campaign!

hello everyone.
I'm seeing some great work here, and a lot of green.. LOL
My little carrier is in the final stages. Been working on my figures tonight. Don't laugh too hard, I know I am not very good with them yet.
did a base coat, then a oil wash for the shadows, and a dry brush of a lightened base coat.
here is the photo, got some more detailing to do so later with more.

I'm back.
Got some more work done on the carrier. My vision is of a dirty, dusty tired looking one traveling down a rural road in France.
I'm quite happy with my scratch built jerry can racks I put on the back.
off to work some more.

Hello Everyone,
Well I finished it.
As you can see I did some work on the figures, as I'm not great at these, I try more for a good impression than for perfection.
I also worked some more on the rubber part of the track wheels, I rubbed off some of the dirt overspray and used a black pigment to get a more realistic look on the rubber.
My favorite part of this kit is the jerry can racks I made for the back.
Here are the photos. there are a few of them

Some great looking vehicles being finished!! I'll have to go back through the thread to find them all.
BTW, thanks for the extension. I may get my Trumpeter Sherman finished after all. Hope to have some update pictures this weekend.
