Neither the Western nor Eastern fronts I'm afraid.
I'm going to run a couple of alternative ideas by you guys, and I need input on them.
-Option 1) I can try to get a voting poll set up on MS, but that seems kind of out of place since we haven't had any waterborne entries and I can't guarantee that it will happen.
-Option 2) I can create a new post here on Armorama where anyone can place there vote. There are two ways to do this:
-a) Allow voting through replies
-b) Send the votes privately to both myself and one other
volunteer member to verify each vote.
Either way will be a measure to ensure only one vote per category per voter.
Let me know what you guys think, I will be awaiting your input

I found two photos of North4003's build in another gallery. They were uploaded back in August. I have moved them to the Vietnam:Trouble is Southeast Asia campaign gallery (but the dates are December).
Last July/August when I completed the Patrol Boat I had a bunch of difficulty posting to the gallery. I was using a different sign on than North4003 also. An operation intervened so it was some time and a new sign on later before I returned to the fold.

Hello All,
I think Option 2 is good. As to which way to tally the votes, I am open to either way.
Just recently returned from Afghanistan and am ready to get back into modeling ASAP.
Cheers!
James

Great to see you back James and looking forward to seeing your future builds.
As to voting, I like option 2 with PM. Would we stick with the same categories as before?

Option 1 seems more official, but Option 2 makes more sense (since few if any ships entered). I'll go with either option-- whatever is better for Jeremy, the group leader.
thanks,
Sean H.

Brent: What scale/kit was it? And did you create a separate thread for it? I kept files on everyone who entered the campaign.
Ok, it sounds like option number 2 is being favored thus far. Thanks for the quick responses, and please keep the input coming in!

It was 1/48 Monogram. I don't have any files on it. No matter, I'm up for a SEA 2.

Hi all,
James : Glad to see you back here, you and your talents in figure painting !
Jeremy : thanks for taking care of this matter ! I think option 2) b) is the best one, as in every kind of vote, one of the key principle is secrecy !
Best,
Julien

Great, looks like we are still favoring option 2 then. I need a volunteer to help with tallying the votes.
Brent: I have a folder with your build in it, the gray Rag boat correct?

Julien, I thank you for volunteering! I do have a thought for you though, I think that it's only fair that the one volunteering has their entry removed from the competition so that there aren't any issues regarding the fairness/accuracy of the vote. Are you comfortable with this? You do have an outstanding entry.

Hi Jeremy,
I do agree with you about fairness, although I'm a very trustable person . I think accordingly that you should ask for a volunteer outside of the participants having an entry into the competition.
Hence I retract my volunteering
Best,
Julien

Thank you Julien. I'm not worried about you, but I don't want it to be an issue with anyone. I also want you to have a chance with you entry, especially with the level of effort you put into it

I will be delayed until next week in finishing up and posting the contest element. I will post the link here as soon as it is finished.

Alright fellas, I have decided to keep the voting poll here within the campaign thread to help avoid any confusion or need to chase another thread down.
Here's the rundown: There are two (2) sections, air forces and ground forces, and there will be three (3) votes per person.
Vote 1: Air Forces (enter number of your selection)
Vote 2: Ground Forces (enter letter of your selection)
Vote 3: Best of Show (enter number or letter of your selection)
Please send your selections to both Sean's and my private message boxes using the above format:
pm Jeremy
pm Sean
Please contact me with any questions.
Good luck to all of our contestants!
