Ian, super build on the Mirage IIIC. Your BM finish is outstanding. Which finishing system did you use?

Thanks for the compliment Joel. I tried something different for this NMF. I used Testors Chrome, which actually is not even a color from the Metalizer Line. It is just a standard Testors enamel. I shot that over Testors Enamel Primer and let it cure. Then I buffed the airplane with Hawkeyes Hobbies buffing powders which worked very well due to the tacky surface of the Testors Chrome. Panel lines were then drawn with a Micron Ink Pen. The NMF surface was then shot with Future and left as is since the photos of the actual planes showed a very high gloss surface on the silver. The red trim was then flatted out and weathered, per the photos.

Looking really good Scott.
As for my M51 build. I primed it yesterday, and will be putting on the base color Friday.

Nice looking Hummer Scott. I picked up the conversion set as well, I really like the look of it. How's the wooden base for it coming along?
Joel, looking forward to seeing your M51 done as well. Really nice solid build you have there

Got the Italeri 1/48th scale F-16A Netz painted this week. The kit is moving along well. Just have to scratch build the chaff buckets for the tail and ventral fuselage area. I am also using Eduard BRASSIN Sidewinders and I must say that is some of the best resin I have seen around.

Ian, beautiful job with the paint that is outstanding well done
I have done a little bit more work on the Orev, The .50 cal should not be mounted on the back so it has been removed and I am going to scratch up the tube rack that should be in there.

Finally got the primer coat(Tamiya), and the base sand color (Model Master). Then sprayed on a coat of Future, and got the decals on. Another coat of Future to seal the decals in a day or two. Then it's finally time to start weathering. That is as soon as I finish the tracks. I'm still sanding those 79 individual track teeth. Takes forever.

Finally some progress
And casting all fears aside decided to take the plunge and try making the anti-slip surface.

Hey Paul, Primeportal was the place I went to when researching the non-skid texture and placement. Some excellent pics there to look at.
