Hey Scott, saw this picture and thought it was very cool with the Orev and Merkava/mine roller. Just an idea for a future dio opportunity.
Paul-might want to read the campaign rules for this particular one, I think your kit has to be started and finished during the campaign time-frame, but that's Scott's call. Sorry Mate!

Joel,
Cool looking M51...I've still not tackled my Academy one.
One note: Your .50 MG is mounted upside down. Tank commander will have a fun time shooting it!

Kerry, great picture!. That is about the last thing in the world I would want to see rolling in on me. Good shot of the ball and chain armor too.

I got the Netz finished this weekend and will post it in the Campaign Gallery shortly. This is the Italeri 1/48th scale F-16A with a Verlinden resin seat and Eduard BRASSIN Sidewinders. The tail and ventral chaff buckets were scratch built and lead foil was used for the intake and exhaust covers. Aeromaster decals were used to depict #112 during it's tenure with the "Negev Squadron". It had been previously assigned to the "First Jet Squadron" where it bore the Hebrew name of Thunder. It was the first Israeli F-16 to score an air-to-air kill and was also flown by the youngest pilot in the IDF at the time. The plane scored a combined total of four kills.
Also, I wanted to add that this was my first Campaign build on Armorama and I must say I have really enjoyed conversing with everybody and I have enjoyed looking at everyone's work. This is a very talented group of modellers on here and hat's off to everybody for their projects. I am going to jump over to the Dragon Campaign after this so maybe I will see some of you there. I am actually going to do a piece of armor for that one.
Regards, Ian

Talk about a dumb move !! Thanks. Will have to pry open the display case and flip it. This just goes to prove that it's the simplest of things that get you every time if you don't pay enough attention.

Ian, your F16 is truly outstanding. Just a super build, as I really enjoyed following it. As for campaigns, it's the only building I do these days, and it's also where I make 99% of my posts. Each one just feels like family to me. Looking forward to seeing you you in the Dragon OOB campaign, as I'm already signed up, and building the old Easy 8 kit.

Joel, it has been fun. Plus, I have a hard time deciding which project to start next, so getting in a campaign really helps me decide what to build. Keeps my already short attention span focused on one thing. And thanks for the kind words regarding the Netz.

Ian- just a great looking Netz, it is one of the best looking 16's I've seen in awhile, especially with the Israeli camo. I'm like you as this is my first campaign as well. I'm looking forward to getting into a few more campaigns to keep me focused! There are some really talented modelers on this website and I have learned quite a bit from them during my research (half the fun for me)of different subjects and techniques. See you soon on another campaign!

Still some great work coming guys, keep it coming
Kerry, that's a great pic of the Orev and the Merk. To bad we don,t live a little closer together or we could try and make a dio with our 2 builds , your merk is looking very good well done
Ian, your Netz is stunning that ia a truly beutiful build you should be very proud of that well done.
I am still waiting for the base to get made up for my orev, think I will need to start to put some pressure on my friend to get it done since my wood work skills are, well rubbish to be honest

Very Cool Brent! A Heli in the mix! Are you going to convert it to a Peten or a Seraph?

I plan on making it into an early Petan, #941 AH64A 113 Squadron, Tsir'ah Heyl Ha'Avir. It is an olive drab version. Will post some pictures later this weekend.

I just reanimated my hibernating Phantom. The basic airframe is completed now. Next is finishing the seats and closing the canopy.

Good luck Matt! Short fuse on this one. Hope you can get it done in time. Isreali "Kurnass's" are very cool!

Hey Brent, how's your Peten coming along? You made me dig around in my stash and look over several Israeli helis I will "eventually" get to. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

Seats are finished now and installed. Unfortunately, closing canopy is more difficult than expected as the fit of the four parts is very poor. I‘ll have to make a little detour there.
@Kerry: Thanks for your comment. I‘m hoping that I can make it in time somehow. Anyway „fuse extenders“ may be helpful...
@Joel: I suppose, your comment refers to my build. Thanks for your good wishes. The Phantom is simply „the“ aircraft IMHO: powerful, massive and somehow sinister.
Cheers

While still struggling with the canopy, the Kurnass gets some teeth. As the kit‘s missiles are reproduced quite simply, I tried to enhance them with some colour at least.
@Joel: No problem, I just was in doubt, who was meant.
Cheers

Matt, nicely done paint detailing on those missiles. I use to use small strips of decals from a detailing set that had various width strips, and various colors. Sure saved a lot of time.

Brent, good luck hope you will get your build finished on time.
Matty, looking good so far the work on the missiles is very good.
Well we are very near the deadline now so will any one need an extension to get their build finished in time?

Hi Scott,
I'm in that awkward final paint-weather-assemble-touchup cycle now, and probably could use an extra week! (So many road wheels, so little time...)
I'll grab & post some "as of now" pics to show where I am.
