Anyone know if IDF-In-Scale is working? I got a new computer and tried to go to the site and now all I get is a line of print saying "idf-in-scale.com" and no content or anything. Do they have a problem with Windows7 (I was running XP before) or is the site down and the new computer just a coincidence?

Got a little farther along on the Netz. Most of the sub-assemblies are done and she was decalled this weekend. Got the late-model chaff buckets scratch-built this weekend as well.

Ian, simply outstanding. Can't wait to see it finally finished. Besides armor, I do build aircraft, so I can really appreciate the effort you've put into the Netz.

Hi everybody,
After seeing all your wonderful builds, I've decided to make a late entry into this campaign with my Academy/Legend Magach 6B Gal Batash. This has been sitting around for about 2years in primer state. Basically, only the painting process remains.
It is now based coated in olive drab & mist coated with stone grey.

BTW Ian,your bird is fantastic.

T Lee, Campaign builds have to be started and completed during the active period that the campaign runs. Unless Scott has approved a prior build, I'm not sure that it will be allowed.

Finally finished my M51 Isherman about a 1/2 hour ago. Just waiting for the flat to dry, then I'll do a photo shoot over the next few days to post here, and in the proper gallery to qualify for the campaign ribbon.

For a while I just had so much going I between work, home, and family, that I hadn't been able to find the time to get some needed work done.

Jim,

Thanks, I re-found them. These new computers, sheesh! Why I remember when keyboards only had half the letters they do now, we had to make do with that!

Ian, beautiful work on the Netz well done It will look stunning when it is finished.

I have found a tow tube mount in the spares box it is not 100% right but I am sure I can modify it to look better?

Great job on the Netz, Ian.

Nice looking TOW Hummer, Scott. I thought you finished already.

Looking forward to see more.

Well, I finally finished my M51 with a 2nd coat of flat. A little better, but I still see a slight sheen. The DML kit was extremely challenging, and kept me going right to the end. I'm still looking for the clear lens for the spot light. Worse case scenario, I'll buy some clear sheet and make one. So please forgive me not including it.

Joel,

Nice work, I've always liked the M-51 and have the Academy, Dragon and Tamiya versions. Should you dab a little gloss blue or something on the periscope lenses? Just a thought.

I kind of like the sheen, I've seen vehicles take on a slight gloss as they get worn.

Michael, thanks so much. I completely forgot to redue all the lenses. My plan was to paint a base of silver, then a coat of Tamiya clear blue. As for the sheen, I'm going to apply one more coat of Dullcoat, a heavy coat, and see if that takes care of the sheen.

Great looking entries everyone!

Ian-your Netz is really awesome! The camo is spot-on! looking forward to seeing it done. Always loved the look of Isreali camo on their birds.

T-Lee- sorry to see your Magach 6B out of the campaign, it is really a nice build in progress. You should post it in the IDF forum and finish it!

Joel- your M51 Isherman is cool! The slight sheen to it makes it look cold and hard! Don't dull it up too much.

Scott-the Orev is looking really cool too! Did you ever get the wooden base to place it on? I have this conversion as well and am looking forward to doing it in the future.

Well my Merkava is almost done! I have a little more detail painting to do, then gloss coat for decals and finally a dullcoat. I am thinking of adding a couple of figures and opening the commander/gunner hatches but my figure painting skill set really sucks!

Thanks Joel, the pictures didn't come out too well. I will take more after decals.

You mentioned putting the Isherman in the "proper gallery" for campaign credit. I thought this was the correct gallery. This is my first campaign, is there somewhere else I need to post to for credit?

Great looking Merkava, Kerry. The mine roller realy adds to the model........as if the Merkava wasn't imposing enough by itself!

Hello,
can anybody tell me if I´m too late to enter this campaign?
I've managed to enlist, but have know idea if I will be accepted because it´s very the last minute.
Also I must add that I signed up to Amorama only last month, and the kit I would like to show was built in Nov.-Dec. 2011.
