Amazing! You don’t check in for a week and there’s two new pages of progress!!

Delbert, the good old Zvedzda M3A1. It is definitely an M3A1. The M3 had a different armored body with less space. See the links in this thread.

Sal, your progress is amazing! Wish I had as much time as you! The fron bumper assembly is definitely still not quite right though…

I do wonder why they badged this as an M4 when clearly there HAD to be other designations for it!

Jeff, the US army material designations are a mystery to me too… A canvas covered halftrack would certainly be something we don’t have yet… But honestly I like the big gun as well…

Guy, welcome to the campaign and looks like some nice goodies there! Great start and I really like your mods to the suspension. PMMS has some pics of mods needed for the suspension.

Chris, you’ve earned the title of being the first one to paint! Looks like the HB kit is a breeze to build! Hope your wife is alright!

Tony, you’re another one of those fast builder! Gread step by step!

Phill, nice work on the engine and chains! Thanks for the how to! I suppose the hood will be open? Your PE work is great!

Joel, welcome to the campaign! Not only do we learn about halftracks, we also learn New Zealand slang!

Michael, glad you decided to join! It’s great to have an IDF version too!

John, Welcome to the campaign!

Rob, I think they were there right from the beginning. I’ve never heard that it was a later mod, though PMMS doesn’t have them either… As you can see in my photos below I tried to replicate them myself, though I think they landed a bit too far back…

I couldn’t resist to start myself, so here are a few pics of some of the first sub- assemblies:

Cheers!

I have solved that problem!

I will build an M3 Scout Car complete with a canvas cover so the T-19 will remain as shown ... thanks to the support of my buddy, Phill. Besides, I want a 1/16th and a 1/35th T-19 side-by-side when it's all said and done.

Just a few more hours work and then it's back home to get caught up! I hope to see HUGE gains today and pics later on my truck, with the gun.

Thanks Stefan!
I am just going to add them to all three.
I will be doing the T19 along side the M3 75mm not sure yet if I'll do the M3A1 as well.

Cheers Rob.

Guy,

Not really. I just have this week free from work, so i have a lot of time. I also just always build straight out of the box, so no alternations or fiddling with P.E parts.

So far some awesome work that everyone is doing. Is anyone planning on doing a vehicle that is not US military, I know we have one so far that is Israeli? Just wonder since there is a lot of lend lease possibilities.

Here is my latest progress update so far. I’ve manage to finish off the interior with a subtle weathering. I wanted to keep this too a minimal since these were fairly new vehicles. Once everything is done I will add a little bit of storage and equipment to the interior. I have all the basic exterior parts added and now I think I’m ready to begin to paint the rest of the model.

Christopher, mine will be British.

Got some more done, mostly cleaning up parts and removing detail to be replaced with PE also started to put the gun for the T19 together.

Jeff, watch where you glue A19 on the gun, glue to A13 not A28 and dry fit the mount in the back the directions are misleading.

Cheers Rob.

Hello Everyone.

There are some great looking projects going one here.

Compared to all the Dragon Half-tracks and I think that one M3A1 is the Hobby Boss kit?, my project is showing its age.

But I am planning it as a fun build and I intend to add a few detailing bits. This is the start of my Zvezda Scout car kit, and it does look a little clunky, but I have the basic chassis finished and will now show the pic.

now i'm off to stare at some eastern block Photo Etch.

Tony, great progress! Did you have any problems fitting the PE ring around the maxin mount?

Sal, second one to paint!

Chris, your interior looks great! Like the spots on the seats.

Rob, good to hear something will be british too.

Delbert. Looks very familiar even though it's been years sinc I built mine...

Steph, I'm incluned to give your M2A1ahome here. Didn't think anyone would build one and I'm looking forward to it! I will change the rules to accomodate it.

Cheers everyone and keep up the great work!

Steph nice scratch building work on the M2A1. I thought maybe you were going to use the new commander series model, but I like the work so far. I'm thinking about getting the commander version since it's a full kit withengine and all.

Keep up the good work

"This Old Kit"

Today we spend most of our time filling and sanding some major ejector pin marks and dry fitting and sanding the body panels until they seem to fit correctly.
