Steph, you sure spent enough time correcting all the body flaws. I'm sure your effort will produce a solid paint finish.

Whoa, Tom! Big build there!

I've seen these and there is a lot going on with them ... and I like it too.

I'll keep an eye on this as I need to get one too.

Well I’ve finally made some progress and finish painting the rest of the model. Even applied some basic Dutch markings to the hull. There are a few spots I missed when painting and need to go back and do some touch ups. Let it dry over night and will seal everything in tomorrow before weathering begins.

Cheers
Chris

Hi All,

One of the things I have been working on was the PE hinges and there are quite a few, so the first one I did I used the .3mm wire that comes with the Griffon kit and found that it was too flexible making it hard to work with and too small leaving extra tabs as well as not looking right. So I got some .020 (.51mm) music wire and that is easier to work with and looks better.

Cheers Rob.

Here is a better pic, still getting used to this camera.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Keep up the good work guys

Sal, I'm still amazed that you along with several other guys have gotten past the basic painting stages, and you haven't even touched your model in two weeks. At this rate you'll be done before I even finish the chassis stage on my M2A1, and I do work on it for a few hours each week (that's all the free time I've got these days).

Yes, same problem here.
I should be fixed when the server is moved, that is what I read.

Cheers Rob.

Like most of you I have several of the DML Halftrack series sitting in my pile of unbuilt kits. I've managed to finish some of my other projects and clear the workbench off so I'm ready to start. For this Campaign I'm going to build my M2A1 (DML 6329). I have a picture of the unbuilt kit waiting to be uploaded and will do so once they have that feature restored on the website.

Thanks,
Karl

Hi Fellow Campaigners,
I am in the process of converting my Tamyia M3A2 halftrack to a M3A1. I have removed the ladders from the side panels. I also removed the storage racks from the rear panel. In that conversion I had destroyed the rivets and had to replace them. I still can't upload images but hopefully soon.

Wow, the Scout Car looks great and I'm glad I picked one up too.

I know, I know ... where are my build pics of my T-19? I am working on it right now as we speak as rain is moving in our area and painting is out of the question today so it's more building today!

Well, long time no see... Great progress going on in this campaign! And the first month has already passed...

Steph, some great scratch work there! Looking forward to the painting stage!

Delbert, nice start. Are you using parts from two kits or did it come prepainted in two tone camo?

Keith, welcome to the campaign! No problem with the start, I trust you started after June 1st...

Tom, great of you to join! I was hoping someone woult tackle one of those large beasts!

Chris, your scout car is coming along real nice, keep it up!

Rob, I think I'd go nuts with the small hinges... Good work!

Sal, looks like you'll be the first one to finish! I think the mines were OD and the seats and straps would have to be canvas color. The mortar packages would probably be black or OD as well. Other than that, coming along nicely!

Andy, got the same problem still. Using Photobucket for the time being...

Updated chart...

Cheers!

Here are some of the photos I wrote earlier in this thread.

Ladders removed, and storage bin at the rear. I will be at the point of painting soon and then move on for the final assembly. Andy

Gee Stefan that seems like a lot I went with the gray mines based on the photos on Prime Portal

The Dragon Instructions called for a mix of OD with Flat Black for the Motors, thats why they are a little darker, I like the seats brown as it gives a little color to the dull interior but which straps should be canvas, the 1's holding the Jerry cans
I also noticed a gap on the right front side so I filled that with putty and get some paint on it tomorrow
