Yep sure did. Such a small think to knock out such a big beast. I love the programme.

Such a shame for such a big beast. At least they didn't scrap it hahaha. The Panther episode was pretty good too

-Conor

My favourite was the M18 Hellcat. They found the old commander of it. He was near 80 and lept back up on that thing like he was back in Normandy.

I thought the whole series was good, especially the one where
that BMP just wouldn´t start, what a sucker I wonder if they ever got that going in the end.

Hi there,
Sal the ribs are still sh and according to what the doc
says they´ll stay that way for at least another 3-4 weeks . Just wish I could have a , not even that is allowed because of the pain killers, which only work when I don´t move(Ha ha).
Still I refuse to stop glueing and sanding and filling:

Well, she at least goes together well, compared to damned cursed kit in the TD campaign. But there are no magic tracks in here

I shall tackle those tommorrow looks like a lot of clean up
Cheers Paul

Well here goes everything. Starting with that lone figure wayyyy in the back...

And the victim is the medic from Dragons "Fallen Comrade" kit.

And we begin . . .

Paul hang in there buddy and try not to move too much, I know the feeling an injury is what got me back into this hobby after a 25 year absence, but you are making some nice progress
@ Conor nice start which figure will that be the 1 all the way in the back of the photo by the way I really like that photo too
@ Bob the modifications are looking good
I have assembled my tending crew
Photobucket
They were primed yesterday so painting them should start soon
The Tiger got its green camo color, not the best paint job but hopefully the washes will help cover up and blend my poor airbrushing
Photobucket
Photobucket
Next up detail painting and I still have to assemble the tracks

Hi Steph,
now I feel even worse .
well I´m glad someone has told me that my modelling is bad
I mean it can´t be good if I´ve made a Tiger B look like a Panther
But no hard feelings, your M3 with the pioneer bridge also
looks cool
Glad to have a little laugh, that doesn´t hurt too much.

Hi all,
here´s yesterdays and todays progress on my Pan.. I mean Tiger B:
Tracks cleaned up and fitted, a word of warning to all those that have this kit(6208), the tracks clean up easy
but they are a lousy fit. If you have no patients then get some after market ones.

on with the primer,

Tomorrow I´ll get the Camo on, and maybe start on the base.
Happy Weekend everyone

Hi Sal,
I´ve just found these links on the net, maybe they can help in finding out which colors the Turret # should be.
The links are in pairs the first color, the second is b+w

Black = RAL 9005

White = RAL 9001 bzw. RAL 9002

Red = RAL 3000

Blue = RAL 5001

Yellow = RAL 1003 (heute 1023) bzw. RAL 1006

with RAL 1003 - nach meiner Meinung die Originalversion

Hey Paul, thanks fro the links and if I go buy they show then it would appear that those numbers on my Tiger would be black with a white outline Now I need to figure out the uniform colors
Nice work on your KT looking forward to seeing more of it

Everybody is moving right along I see.
Nice work, a lot of German items......
Have to wait for my new tank is baking so thought I'd better update;

Replaced the platform support and finished up the platform itself.

Thats when I noticed I had to remake the tank.
Stiil working away,

Hi Everyone,

I was searching for interesting options to build and have chosen the UN version of that Indian T72M1.
I will choose this one for this campaign. Only 2 images available and both are from internet.

I have started a build log HERE

Thanks in advance. Cheers

One down!

Wayyyy the in back there.

He's not great, but then again he's not exactly the main character here:

I used putty to mold part of the jacket over the trench coat, and that obviously still needs work.

I got another figure halfway done...I think. . .

Hi everyone,
some cool projects coming to light here.
@Mukund: that build of yours I really want to see. What is the after market turret, Verlinden?

@Conor: nice progress with the figure mate. You also make
me envious with how you change and paint them. Mine are just
not worth mentioning

@steph: nice interior there, but what happened to the back of the drivers seat . Or should I not ask

Well here´s my progress, this is going to be a black and white build. Something I´ve never even thought of doing,
until I read an artikel in a modeling magazine.
This is my interpretation of "dunklegelb" in black and white. First off the foto so you can check.

Humbrol 28 camo grey, with a dash of Humbrol 34 white:

What do all you say? Maybe a tad to light huh

Time for another update;
For reference

Here are the 3 main pieces so far; (4thwill be the pipe construction)

And together:

And how they will fit in the LVT;

Still need piping to the front tanks, under the deck final items and of course the pipe construction for the main tanks.

Thanks for looking,
Bob

Hi all,
@Luca: that´s tuff news mate, but as X-Mas is closing in
maybe you could wish Santa for laptop

Well there is a strange thing sticking out of the turret
of my build and after some reserch this weekend
I´ve found out what it is . It´s a crane, being used to lift the engine deck, I shaw hope I don´t have to
include it in the build I´m going to have enough problems with all those trees and the dude lurking in the distance.
I also now know that the tank is Nr. 105 of the 501 Schwerepanzerabteilung, so here´s the pics:

A quick update...

The camo scheme needs work, of course

And a little side-by-side...

So that's that. More to follow sometime this week.
