Howdy,
Would Dragon's 10.5cm Sturmhaubitze 42 or StuH42 work ? Gary Boggs' build log here on Armorama inspired me to get the kit. A Campaign would get my rear in gear to build it !
Tom
GOOD CHOICE!! The Dragon 10.5cm Sturmhaubitze 42 or StuH42 is perfect and as long as any selection is a StuG III or StuG IV,
YOU'RE IN! Yeah, Gary's build is very kool.
I have that kit too but I've been eying my DRAGON 9035 ... the StuG III Ausf. C 7.5cm StuK 40 L/48. I may steal the Winterketten tracks from my DRAGON Ausf. F/8 to use but I really like the molded in zimm so I cannot decide.
Heck, I may even do one of my famous
"Kit Bashing" efforts (you guys haven't seen them) and maybe motorize it.
I will give the deciding date a few more hours before I submit this. Should be a lot of fun!!

Hi Jeff,
any start date will do, I'll be doing the ancient Revell (ex Dragon) kit of the F8 with a few aftermarket bits and some scratch.

Good deal Paul!
I'm going through my kits and getting all kinds of ideas. Adding a Tamiya Schurzen to a DRAGON kit isn't too crazy ... is it?

Jeff,
I get the idea that you can suggest dates but they are assigned based on the existing campaigns. I would think that a 6 month run would be good...

Hi Jeff,
Tamiya Schurzen on a Dragon kit, never tried that!!
Lets just see how crazy this can get, I have seen an F8
with a MG 15 mounted as an anti-infantry weapon. I'll
see if I can find the picture on the net and reproduce
this version. I seem to remember my mate at the model shop
said it was Geißel-Abteilung (232?)

All I can say is that I hope Jeff is happy.... here I sit surrounded by Stug boxes that I have pulled down, references and I still have to finish my ST-III for the Weird and Strange build.
Am thinking of maybe doing a Stug D in North Africa. Or I could go insane and do a Finnish Stug (using a normal Stug kit).... hmmmmmmm

I need to do some research and see if those Schurzens were even on a StuG C. And that goes for the Winterketten too.
Oooh, I need to stay out of these boxes for now!
Thanks for dropping by KrzysztofW!! Hopefully we'll all meet at the Campaign page when it gets approved!

Hi Guys,
As the slowest & properly least experienced in the group could we stretch dates & start beggining June end 31 Dec??? Just an idea & I will try to build quicker if those dates don't work.
Cheers Mike

It's all subject to approval and change but I set it to begin July 4 and end Dec 30. To go in with a bang and go out with a ... well, close to a bang. We got better things to do on the 31st.
And the 4th is my Birthday.
Sounds good erhntly!
And Bob, by all means ... make sure it doesn't squeak before you start building it!
I am!
