Hey Fellas.
No new updates from me. I'm going to upload my last photos to the gallery and call it finished.
Too tired and busy to build at the moment. Maybe when the weather warms up, i can back down to my cave.

Well, I was hoping to throw this into a diorama, but time and my attention span (or lack thereof) prevented that. But in the end, I learned a lot. Like not to trust Dragon's instruction sheet Yup, anyways, here:
Well, I guess all there is to do now is go hide under a rock until the next Sturmgeschutz Brigade Build.

Conor, that looks great. The weathering makes it look like a battered old war horse.

Well thanks! That's what I was going for haha. Circa 1945 Stug that's been through low level hell all it's life.
But, seeing as this is my first successful campaign, and I've never had to do it before, I can't figure out how to upload to the campaign gallery...
Help?

Mine's all done but for a bit of weathering and a few details, which will have to wait for tomorrow. This campaign is not listed as active any more--it's supposed to end on Feb 28, right? (EDIT: At least the gallery lists it as active.)

Conor, go into the kitmaker gallery section and sign in. Go to the campaigns section and select it. The Stug Bde build should be listed with the active campaigns (at least it still was last night). Select the Stug bde Campaign and when the page opens up click upload pictures on the right upper part of the page. Hope that helps.

It's weird I think I'm doing everything right (go to the stug brigade gallery, click upload, and upload), but whenever I try to upload it just tells me "The category you chose can't contain photos." Anyone else have this happen to them?

Conor, I've had that happen, it may be an issue with the gallery, I'd private message Jeff so he knows you're having issues.

Just uploaded my finished StuG. Maybe the gallery is on New Zealand time--it already says the date is March 1.
Not a contest winner, but it's done. It'd look better with figures, but I implied them instead. (How else did the fenders and engine deck get muddied up?) Extra tracks are regular Pz.III/IV track--explains why tracks are not 100% Winterketten.

Well I didn't think I was getting a ribbon because I couldn't get my photos to upload into the gallery. But I did. Awesome campaign, and on top of that it was my first successful one

BOO! You have ribbons!
And Conor... even I'm not that cruel!
Thanks everyone for joining my first ever Campaign and the only thing I wish I could change is that I had finished my own build but that wasn't the point. I just wanted to share my ideas and I'm so glad so many of you had fun!

Fellow StuG modelers: Here's a retroactive build log for my StuG on my blog I posted with what I could remember and what pics I had taken. Usually I try to do it as it's going.
I highly recommend it (do it on the forum if you don't blog). Not just because it gives other modelers a chance to see your techniques. It helps me when I forget what I did!
Cheers, Ed

Thanks again Jeff for the campaign. A lot of good finished models - a productive campaign for sure.
