Add the longer naval gun and you will surely have the SU-100. Either way, the vehicle itself is nice, just as an SU-85 is. Both are tops on my list for the SP Gun/Tank Destroyer.
Oh, and welcome aboard! The more the merrier I say. This will be a fun Campaign!

Well Anthony mate nice to see something in 4BO joining in & my two cents worth after Stalin had seen the prototype of a kv7 with two 76mm guns his reply was if one gun isn't big enough get a bigger gun, I would go for the SU100

Hello Phill,
I just found this and thought I would like to take part.
I´ll do one these, or maybe both.
I picked the Academy one up today, and yes the blokes leg is complete it´s just bent at a odd angle on the box.

Count me in for this one. I think an Achilles 17 pdr. it will be.

Oh,ho-ho-hooo!
Zon that is a beautiful example to enter! THAT is one BA looking AFV and I'm sure you'll be enjoying this build!
And
Phill buddy, don't do it! Do not paint that my friend!
Of course, it's MY OPINION but I would leave it just like the adds show all that gold, err ... I mean brass.
It also would look so cool on a battery operated turn-table too, with a dedicated light on it. I mean, that stuff ain't cheap!
But, have fun with it all. I need pics too.

Jeff mate i have been thinking about that i have come up with a idea about it .. i am going to paint ..the engine ,drive train and seats and crew gear but thats it .. i am not going to paint anything else ..would be such a waste of all that work to hide it under paint .
So have no fear ..that ain't happening here

Hey! Since this Campaign has been already approved, shouldn't it loose it's "Proposal" wording in the title?
Just a thought ...

I need to come up with a theme for this build too. I have the le.FH18/40/2(sf) auf G.W.Pz.Kpfw.III/IV on it's way so now I need to showcase it.
I did entertain the idea of the Sturer Emil kit being a part of the Campaign, but since I found this one I think 2 builds would be too much. This DOES have a nice fighting room interior and I bet is an intense build. Maybe take the kit and have it destroyed, thus making the build less detailed and just a shell of a tank? Then, just have the le.FH18/40/2(sf) auf G.W.Pz.Kpfw.III/IV passing by.
Well, back to the M1117 build.

Zon & Phill,
Ditto to all Jeff said, the panzer jager 1 does look cool & showing off all the work brass going into that some part stryene model would look cool
Cheers Mike

Thinking about it Jeff having you new toy
passing a wreck is always a cool idea but my question to you is this ,,,are you using the Emil as the wreak ?? ,,if you are then good idea ..the breach one the 128mm gun is massive and when the gun is fully lowered it sits pretty damn high and looks mean and imposing as does the huge gun ,,there is bugger all in the fighting compartment too so it would be a good choice .

Yeah, but on second thought I don't want to ruin a great looking AFV, so maybe a Sherman should be off the road burning.
Or some kind of Allied tank.

Ya i am in agreement there ...i to would find it hard to kill the Emil too so yeah a sherman would do and as it was in the war theres plenty out there ,,,ya dude go with a dead shermie ,,easy

OR, I might mix it up and have the StuG E and the le.FH18/40/2(sf)auf G.W.Pz.Kpfw.III/IV together, since it is a TD and SPG Campaign in some kind of setting.
I don't know ... maybe I'll just surprise myself!

Speaking of the Panther Campaign, I need to put some finishing touches on the Coelian and then she's done.
That got a little side-tracked during the big spending spree here lately. Now I am hard at it building and finishing things. Especially for the Strange and Weird Military Machines Campaign. Details, details and then he's done too.

I think once the smoke has settled and all Campaigns are pretty much caught up I think I will join the madness and do something like this:
AND
I had been looking at another Marder build and I remembered the awesome look of all this PE. After thinking about it I think it would be neat to have it un-painted on a turn table, showing off all the glitter.
This WILL be expensive.

Very nice choice Jeff mate ..its a sweet little model ,,all four of them
Again you just can't paint it when it looks that good and the half track will suffer the same fate
That fate ?? seriously cool looking bright brass models ..this won't be my last one ..i already know that now

Hi Phill,
I´ve had a change of mind, just realised that this was in my stash. As there are going to be plenty of German builds i´ve
decided to do an allied one first and maybe a Hetzer after.
