Hi Philippe,
looks good and that barrel looks perfect
Is it from RB and if so, how is it to put together
I have it also and the etch bits have me a tad worried

Philippe the T-72 is looking really good.

Guys can't wait to see the Chieftain troop on parade,

The S tank is really impressive as well.

Don't know why I waited so long to get in a campaign.

Hey Paul! how are you?
thanks for the good word, John and Thomas too

The barrel I bought from JBmodel for 8 bucks (really just a barel and pe in a plastic bag) and it went pretty well I must say no fuss except for some minor glitch glueing the heat shroud clamps.
Thanks again peeps! Btw I`m just trying to keep up with the level of building here!

Ronnie------Your build looks great. Looking foward to the finished product.

Philippe----Great progress on your T-72.Nice crisp build.

I did some more work on my Berlin Brigade Chieftain. Photos of these vehicles indicated that they carried additional hull-type storage boxs on the turret bustle. Also, many of them carried the larger type box from FV-432 APC's on the bustle as well so I scratchbuilt both types and added them to the turret. I also added the barrel sensor to the end of the muzzle. Lead foil smoke discharger covers were added and a lead foil mantlet cover was installed as well. I think I have all the Mk.9 details incorporated but if I missed anything let me know. Should be ready to primer soon.

Best wishes, Ian

Thanks Philippe. It will be in the three tone block urban scheme used by the British on their Berlin Chieftains.......white, medium blue and a very dark brown with all black road wheels and black tracks. It's a pretty neat scheme. The blocks in the camo scheme were sized to match the dimensions of doors and windows as allowed by Berlin Building Code so the tanks would blend in well in an urban environment.

@Philippe: I´m fine thanks and yourself?
Lovely build there mate can´t wait for the painting to start

@Ian: nicely done mate, it looks very convincing. But can I
see the .50 cal ranging gun on the left turret side?
If so it´s gotta go, the Mk9´s didn´t have them.

I´ll get some progress pics on later, haven´t done much because of work and then Friday and Saturday was party time

Hi there,
well a quick update it shall be, it´s not easy doing Friuls
and filling holes with a hangover

I´ll do the other side tomorrow after a hard days work.

@Philippe: are those also friul tracks or resin items?
they look cool which ever they are.

I´m going to get a hair of the dog now , or maybe 2 .

Keep up the good work

Hey Paul! You have my sympathy for the hangover...That was exactly me yesterday, except it was miniarm tracks. Keep the fruils if you can afford it Paul. Miniarm look good and they are cheap (23$ for mine) BUT, they are frustrating sometime....tend to break, have bubbles etc. and I had only 2 or 3 spares So good luck if you break one more!
I leave you to your fruils PARTY!

Here is my primer job. Took nearly 3 month but I`m there!

Philippe-----T-72 really looks good! Are you doing Russian markings?

Paul----Sorry about the hangover! I imagine metal tracks and a throbbing cranium probably are not a good combination. Maybe a nip of some Longmorn will help. Great work on your Chieftain!!
