Nice Pershing.
I'm still slowly working on this little beast...
Front details.
Filled those holes with white glue
I know there's still one missing, but I've just added the PE part, and in the process broke the base of the headlight (again).. so I didn't want to push my luck.
After taking those photos I was reboxing some of the items and my Panzer 38(t), I'm doing it for another Campaign just took a dive to the floor...
this one..
Broke the ideler wheel, bent a wheel and that was it..
That's enough modelling for one day.

Getting close to finishing this one up. Just need to add a few more details, and little more weathering.

Nice Leopard so Far. Can't wait to see it done!! I got a 1A4 as well and I want to finish it like the ones I saw in Germany when I was stationed there, camo nets and brush!

Fantastic builds guys, I love this era of tanks... If I had the shelf room left I would start on them... but the man cave is only so big
IrishGreek how did you make the trenching log? It looks spot on for the scale of the tank!

Kevin, cool Leo there are you going to do a base for it or leave it just as it is?
John, great looking Type 79 , and the log is fabulous . What Bonsai did you cut it from ?
John (Nito74) take it easy mate, some builds are just cursed from the start, even more so if you to rush things
MBR, nice M26 but why is it in German hands?
Ok. I´m calling my Chieftain done, got the yard brush and shovels on and also the winky wanky (warn light on the turret). I´ll try and get a simple base done for her, something a cobbled bit of road:-

The Tamiya T-55A builds up remarkably quickly (or perhaps have been doing Dragon kits for too long?).
I am essentially done with the kit build. I went with the Polish version, but discovered too late it needed a slightly different engine deck - oh well, i'll forget about that in a few months so i am not worrying about it.
I added a home-made coaxial MG barrel to the right of the main gun, and I have decided the next step before painting is to add some fuel lines to the external tanks.

MBR-----I like your M-26. Nicely done.
John---Great details on the Magach. That's alot of mods on the bow of that tank!
Kevin---Great looking Canadian Leopard.
Paul---Your Chieftain looks outstanding. Your conversion was really well done.
Vance---Like the T-55. Everyone I have talked to raves about that kit............and yes, you are right....they seem, to go together a tad quicker than Dragon.
Thomas---Centurion really looks good. The work you did on the gun mantlet really adds a nice touch to the turret detail.
Best wishes, Ian

Thanks Ian,
and it's still missing the blazer armour blocks, just a few steps after those photos...
Those instructions should have some links to the Tamyia's instructions, it's very hard to miss some detail or glue something from the original kit...

Continued nice work gents!
Dazza and Paul, for the "log" I found a piece of a shrub near my house that had a long enough straight and snipped it off. Then drilled a couple holes in the right place for some wire to hold it to the tank. Then used some plastic to create the mounts and straps. The wire goes thru the center of the mounts into the tank.

Very interesting! I always thought it was pretty interested ting that we would go through great lengths to camo vehicles in the field only to slap bright maneuver markings on them! Thanks for the info!

Larry yes, I know what your getting at. Now think of this, world war III :-
After all our training, the only way to recognise the "iron curtain Forces" in the 80´s was to look out for red tape .
I hope they also had their winky wankys turned on when travelling on public roadways
Kenneth, holy sugar dude, that is fabulous

Thanks for the info on the log Irish, no wonder it looks so real... IT IS! The best part is it looks perfectly to scale too.
Fantastic builds guys, watching the detail in this thread daily!
