Hi again everyone..

This is the progress of my Leopard 1A2 after 3 months. I started here.

Anyway, the kit is actually a 1A1, one of the main differences on the 1A2 is the thicker armor on the turret sides, I started work on this 10 days ago, you can see the difference between two turrets. I'm also using Perfect Scale's excellent Leopard 1 Grill Set. It was very tempting to use their Leopard 1 gun but I decided to work on kit's gun, I think the result is nice.

David, the Chally looks great to the illegal basket on the turret side I will say this. There wasn't enough stow room in the vehicle and we lost all the external stowage bins of the Chieftain. So we decided to add extra stow room on the outside.
We had to be careful how these were fixed, as it was not permitted to drill into the Chobham armor. in some cases we did it anyway but otherwise we welded everything to the top of the armor. That just shows how far the trust goes, as if one of us
had given the drill chips to the soviets for analysis

John, your Leo is looking great.

Lap Man, the M60 is looking cool dude.

Jose, a great build from there, take it easy and make a cool paint job on her.

Francis, one more closer to a Squadron, nice build there.

John K, fantastic build, you have turned that ugly duckling into a beauty of a swan.

Cagkan, your Leo 1 is looking great.

I have lost the specialized USB cable for my normal camera, so i am forced to use the camera on my cell phone - which only takes decent pics in bright light. I have a whole sequence of photos showing my work on making the fuel lines, but those are trapped on the camera.

So I am very close to done with my Tamiya T-55A. just need to do washes, drybrushing, decals, tracks, and fuel barrels.

Hoping i can finish by the deadline tonight, but i may have to fudge the completion time by a couple days...

Jose she's looking mighty fine there.
What's with the yellow fume extractor on the barrel?
Tamiya's big brother doesn't mention it and the example in the Tank museum Bovington doesn't have either.

Lap Man the M60 looks cool dude, the weathering is excellent.

Cheers

Finished off my Trumpeter T-64...

Finally...

It's been painted and just needing a bit of weathering since May. Finally got around to the last few bits this weekend.

Doing this kit also gave me the push to finish off my ZSU 23-4.

That's a wrap for me for this campaign. Now off to work on some Panzers!

The finished Centurion, Suez 1956. The Tow cables were replaced with wire cut to the specified length but came out a trifle short, but i think it works.
