Ok I call the Chieftain done as she stands. I haven´t the time to do a Base for it, too many other campaigns and too much sunshine

David your Chally looks cool and you have the illegal add-on
stowage bin. What color is the paint it looks like Tam. XF 65 Field grey?

Here´s my gallery pics:-

Thanks Kenneth. I think the Barracuda camo is a bit out of my league.

Who dares wins 👍

By the way, I bought some Aussie paint from Mouse Armour - do you know what to thin this with?

BYG DANSK!!!

Kenneth I think the paint is Auto based enamel so I use a general purposes auto thinner. I tried Testors / Model Master enamel thinner and it doesn’t work.

Hi Kenneth

That is a very nice Danish Leopard and the figures are just perfect for the time period. I love the beard and the long hair.

Greetings fellow campaingers I am at that stage where I am happy enough with my Challenger to call it finished (of course once I have posted this I will spot something that needs fixing )
The model was first primed with Humbrol 105 Matt Marine Green and then painted with a 50/50 mix of Tamiya XF-67 NATO Green and XF-51 Khaki Drab. The black camouflage pattern is Tamiya XF-69 NATO Black. The illegal add-on was painted with NATO Green with the main panels painted with a mix of NATO Green and XF-11 J.N. Green (never mind the illegality, it's the looks tha count).

Weathering was done with a mixture of Marutechnics Easy Mud and Tamiya Weathering Master “Mud”. Once I was happy with that I finished the whole lot off with a number of very, very thin coats of Tamiya XF-52 Flat Earth.

cheers

Thanks! while I did finish the Pershing the DSLR is already packed and on it's way to Cork with the "we go by land" half of our holliday group [and the rest of us board the plane in a few hours for 2 weeks in Inland] so pictures can wait and the vignette might make the finish as well
