As you can all tell by now, I'm that good with posting photos.
Is there a video out there that could show me step by step the proper way of uploading pictures to this site.
Thank you,
Roy

Roy,
If you are posting from Photobucket just click the top right button that says share to other services and you will get a prompt to share. Then click the word at the top that says link and you will get the codes. click on the bottom 1 that say IMG code it will copy and the just paste it into your post here
Hope that helps

Just click on the IMAGE code address in the menu on the right side of the picture in your Photobucket account and it will include the IMG tags.
Your supplied address just needs the IMG and /IMG (before and after the address) to display the picture.

Sal,
Thank you for the directions. If I followed them correctly, this image is of the decal selection i have for the Firefly build.

Being basically a OOB builder, I'm really quite impressed with all the aftermarket detail sets you guys have for your builds. Looking forward to seeing them as your builds progress.

Assuming I don't change my mind before I actually start (not an unusual occurrence with me), this will be my build:
I include the tracks because the only photo I've seen of Thunderbolt V clearly shows the T-48 tracks and the kit comes with the T-41/51 plain rubber block. I'd be happy to use the DS track the kit comes with, but I was struck with a case of this-has-to-be-right-itis. Anyway, we'll see.
Sure look like some interesting builds planned!

Hey Michael... wasn't the Thunderbolt V an A3? Does this kit have what it takes to make the A3 as well as an M4 with a radial engine as the boxart shows?

Jeff,
Nope, Thunderbolt V was a straight M4. VI and VII were A3s (both 76s and VII was an A3E8).

Thanks... I knew the VII was an Easy 8 (I have that kit) but was unaware Thunderbolt V was a M4 with a radial engine.
Now I know and can't wait to see your transformation!
Cheers!

Would a T52 AA Sherman be ok? I've been planning one for a while and may get an M4A2 this Wednesday to begin it.

Just for reference. Frank LeMay has been working on one of these and I've been following it with great interest. Wanna see if I can do half as good as he's done!

Hey Ansell... welcome aboard.
Since you have already enlisted, all we usually do is show the kit before we start on it and we'd like to see a lot of progress pics, but most modellers only show a few. Your discretion.
A finished pic here and at the gallery is all that's required as is outlined here: http://armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcontent&id=611
And Jon... a T52 AA Sherman is more than okay! You must build it now!

It's been a hectic holiday season, and my daughter is in town so this is the first chance I got to post.
This will be an M4A3 from the USMC 6th Tank Battalion on Okinawa.I'm using Bronco AM tracks for all the add on armor.
Now a question for all you fellow participants. I looked and discovered the parts to build an M4A2 Late in the box. Am I dreaming? If not bless DML!

Are those parts shaded in blue on the sprue map? Probably cheaper to package them all than deleting them.
Good for you.

Jon - that will be a neat Sherman!
Since I'm sick and shouldn't be sneaking outside to the shed to paint models, I started my build here: an old Faxon Jumbo in 48th. The transmission cover leaves gaps with the Hobby Boss hull side so I used the kit part and built it up with magic sculpt. I'll sand it and form it more when it dries. I opted for the solid rim roadwheels, and also plan for summerfield matting on the hull front and sides. To get the sagged wheels I'm sawing off the arms and sanding flat. Anyone know if any differences between the 75mm and 76mm (other then gun tubes and .30/.50cals)? Any other tips and help welcomed

I'm really looking forward to following your progress on this build. Certainly looks to be a real challenge for someone with more modeling skills then I.
