Getting into this party very late (maybe not at all) but seems the right place for this question.
I've come across some debate as to a 10.5cm L68 gun fitting into the Tiger II or E-75 turret.
I think that gun would make more sense than a 7.5cm L100 or even a 8.8 L80. At least when turning corners.
What do y'all think?

Hi there,
I call this done, and I made it before the original deadline and as far as I'm concerned it's not a bad job for 22 days
from start to finish.
I might add a figure later but I can't be bothered at the moment.
Hope you like it then, my version of the Hobby Boss VK4502 (P) vorne:-
Thanks for saving this campaign Jeff, it was well worth it , I suppose we could start thinking of a #2, or is it too early for that ?
See you all soon and keep em coming
Paul

Yep! Paper Panzers II. Most definitely! But we need more finished entrants next time so I guess I must do a little Campaigning & advertising.
On your VK4502 (P) Vorne... where's the exhaust? Certainly after you discovered it was omitted by the model company you would add it, huh? BTW, it sure looks good especially after Mike set the bar so high with his paint scheme as you seemed to have met it's match with yours!
I'm on the homestretch with mine and no time to waste either as I must wrap up the Civil Wars and Super Heavy after I build these transport tracks for the E-50.

Okay! I just finished putting on the last few pieces of the parts for the tank... those 7 lifting hooks on the rear deck.
Not fun!
Next time I'll need to break out my "Mag Eyes" because after that little ordeal I couldn't see straight for a few seconds! And there'll be no pictures of them because my camera is old like me and cannot focus THAT small!
But seriously all that's left are the roadwheels and the tracks as I have started priming the barrel and the PE on the turret. Should be fun on the tracks as they are length and link parts from the Academy "Last Production" King Tiger kit.
Oh well, it's what I wanted.
Jeff

Paul,
HOLY CRUD!!
Are you leaving bowls of milk out for the elves/gnomes/fairies at night to do your building for you????
22 days?!?!
How is that even possible?
You are my new role model.
Built to that level in that amount of time?!?
Needless to say, I am impressed.
Simple little kit, if you dont build the interior...
I've got to get mine back out and going again
I do like the geometric masked cammo on the hull, I might go that way for mine, with a more standard 3-tone cammo on the turret.
Mike

Hi Mike,
I'm afraid we don't get those creatures here, apart from that I think Gary B has them all under license. There is the odd Ork or so but they are more of a hindrance than help
I don't want to brag but at a rough guess I spent about 3 hours a day on it ca. 60 hours all toll. I just concentrated on this kit , and my LEP Scimitar.
Hi Jeff,
I sifted through my reference material on Saturday and found this:-
the large area at the rear of the vehicle is the exhaust, so no need to add an exhaust pipe .
Thanks to both of you guys for the remarks, they are well appreciated
For part 2 I shall do a Hetzer with a 2 cm Hängelafette
turret. I have both in the stash and I just ordered the Friuls for it.
Take it easy all

Mighty fine builds from everyone, my congratulations to all finishers!
Well after reading that there was an extension, I thought I'd give it a shot. From last night I just got over the decals and sealed with Future:
At the pace that I am building, it's still a long way to go for me to declare it done. Anyways, it should line up nicely when another Get er Done comes in.
Cheers,
Tat
