John,
Looks good.
Did you measure the lenght for the tow cables or did you just cut what Trumpeter gave you in half like I did?
I'm thinking mine look too long, but the ones on your tank look pretty good.
hip deep in gators here with family stuff.
Back to the bench when I can.

Very nice Sal !
The Zimm turned out great, I really like your colours !
The muzzle break is still primed on the interior, one other thing, isn't it going to be hard to get the tracks on ? very little space between the fenders and the sprockets...
Almost forgot.. my update.. last pics, finished E-50 !
Kit: Trumpeter's E-50
Paints: Tamyia base coat, Vallejo Primer, equipment & details w/ Tamyia, Vallejo & Humbrol.
Weathering: Mig filters & Washes, AK track wash, Vallejo for the chipping, Tamyia weathering sets.
Decals : Tamyia, CMK, A-model.

"Mig filters & Washes"... is that what was used as the streaking on the glacis John?
If so, what shade or color?
Thanks! That (and all of it too) really makes it shine!

Jeff, I used 2 MIG Filters,
P245 Brown for Dark Green
P241 Brown for Dark Yellow
These were used all over the tank, to blend the base colour and give some different tones.
The streaking on the glacis, turret and side skirts I used AK Streaking Grime (AK012) & AK Rust Streaks (AK013).
For the pin washes I used MIG Neutral Wash.
Thanks for the kind words Jeff ! I hope it helps, I did

Hello,
Mighty fine builds out there folks, and some nearing completion with just over a month in the campaign!
I've enlisted awhile back, and finally decided on the Trumpeter E-25. My startup pic, on an early Sunday morning:
I bought it when it was released and its been sitting at the bottom of the pile since. As I typically build OOB, the first thing I checked was the gun barrel. It seems warped towards the end, but I guess a bit of work should to straigthen it up.
More to come.
Cheers,
Tat

For what it's worth, Squadron has the 4502 (P) with the forward mounted turret on sale today for $21.
What they DON'T tell you is that the kit has a full turret interior.
It's a heck of a deal for $21

I got my E-10 done yesterday. Not a bad build, the only problem was cleaning up and assembling the 200 indie tracks which actually went okay.Painted using Tamiya,MM,and Vallejo.Weathered with Mig and AK products.

Welcome Miloslav,
Never saw a Panther with a 150mm assault gun... is it the same as used in the Brummbar ?
Your conversion changes the gun and mantlet ?
You are on a Panther fever lately, Big Cats Camp, Paper Pzrs Camp...

I like Panther. This is my favorite tank.
My very old conversion included Turret & mantlet w/gun (recommended for Tamiya Panther G)
I have still two Panthers. One with 5,5cm AA turret and one wit Flakvierling 4x20mm

Not to pat myself on the back but I am glad I stepped up to the plate and saved this Campaign idea.
Even though I haven't been able to build anything I am happy to see others doing so and making it pretty successful!
We have 31 enlisted and have 'till July 31st to finish. I still may have time for my E-50 but it will be stiff competition against Johns, which is hard to beat anytime but I'll try my best to live up to it.
