I found it easier to "host" the pictures (like Photobucket), so they can be put anywhere.

Jeff, agreed with you about Photobucket being a perfect photo hosting site to post your build pictures here. I believe that they auto compress your pictures to a max of 1024x768 so they work here perfectly, especially in the gallery section.

Photobucket will compress your files even smaller if you leave don't access the account every so often. And I wouldn't use Photobucket as my primary storage either.

But I agree that Photobucket its easier. I found uploading to KitMaker to be a pain.

Christopher,
My other interest is in Photography. I use Flickr as they do a much better job of compression. The photo sites I'm a member of, I upload directly to after I resize my images to 1024 X x. I've never really had any issues with Photobucket futrher compressing any older pictures, as their just for threads here.

As for photo storage, I store all my RAW & JPEG images full size on an external HD. I would never take a chance of a cloud or any internet server crashing or getting hacked, where you could permanently loose your images.

Hi, Jeff and everyone

Read this thread today and I think it´s the perfect excuse to build one or two of those kits from the stash that fell in that campaign. Love antiaircraft AFVs.

Those are the usual suspects:

I´m not really sure which one, may be both. The thing is that I don´t know if I have the time needed for both as I have other subjects on the workbench.

I have a little more than a month to decide and search for info. If you have a preference please let me know.

Enlisted! See you soon.

Hi Raulito, glad you dropped by to show interest here.

That is a tough choice you have there as I couldn't pick one out of those two! I have no preference but build the one you know can be completed.

Looks like we are going to see some very interesting builds here!

@Jeff
Thanks you for the welcome. Think I´ll start with the Flakpanzer and see where I ended.

@Robert
It would be my pleasure, as long as you understand my English writing.

See you soon.

I was planning on doing a Soviet Gaz AAA truck with a 25mm bofors but I cant find the gun. Does anyone know of a kit that is available?

I was going to base it on this photo

I can source a German 3.7cm gun that appears similar to the one in the photo. Would it be permissible to use this?

I could be up for this. I have a Dragon Sd.Kfz.7/2 that would be suitable. And it would be my first campaign if I would be eligible to enter.

Jeff, I'm ready to go. As you know I finished up my Sherman Only build with the M4 Composite Hull PTO I'm working on a Bronco Chaffee M24 till the campaign starts. Then will finish the Chaffee, and then I'm going to attempt my very 1st 1/350 scale ship. Have wanted to do ships as well as armor for a long time.

Oh, you mean 6541?

But of course!

And Joel... sounds good to me there buddy. As a matter of fact I first started out building ships. Many, many moons ago.

So, whenever you are ready!

and have signed up?

If so, what then is your question?

Stephen the gun is actually a 37mm and not a 25mm. It's a M1939 61-k and based on the 40mm bofors. The only kits aviable at this moment are from Zvezda and PST in 1/72scale. You could take the 40 bofors and modify it, different gun base plate and siting equipment.

Hi Christopher

Thanks for that information it is much appreciated. I can get my hands on the 40mm bofors so it sounds the way to go.

Cheers

I'm in, not sure what I'm going to build yet. Thinking of either the Italeri Staghound AA, the Tamiya Crusader Mk.III AAT, or maybe the Bronco Canadian Bofors.
