That looks really cool, couple of questions do you have any other photos of it besides what looks like a drawing / book art??
Also if you do would you mind if I upsized it in 1/35th I think that pokey little 3ton jib grane on top of that behemouth looks so funny it;s fantastic!!
Cheers Mike

Are you going to build it straight from the box or try another version?
And what's the "wing ding" comment? Are you going to make it fly too?

More than likely it will be OOB,with a little scratch building thrown in,I will have to see what comes with the kit.
No,I will not be making tanks fly.In this part of the country, wing ding is slang for a party or get together.Although since the Large Scale Campaign is open to Wingy Thingies,I might have been funny with out even knowing it.I can understand how you where confused Jeff T.

Maybe not so much confused as a possible generation gap.

I am on the cheap side of things. I purchased a Jagdtiger partially started. Just the hull attached to the chassis. Am I allowed to enter this kit? if you need a photo I shall supply a few. Thanks.

Trevor who is the kit by and scale? When you say that the hull top and bottom is attached is that it?

Depending on my Campaign schedule, either a Tamyia KT or a Dragon's KT w/Zimmerit.
mmmhh a KingTiger with a 120mm gun from a Leo 2A6 would be a great project too... I'm going to leave that project for a WhatIf Campaign...

I received the kit as is. Manu I am not too sure, could be dragon but only guessing. A Jagdtiger, going to add on some details and such, going to make up for the completed hull. If photo requested will provide.

If anyone is looking to build the late Tiger II mods there is a Japanese company called Zitader. They provide cast resin drop ins for the 3 piece engine hatch, ears for the ranger finder, 105mm barrel, front fenders and several mantle versions. A bit of a process to order though quite prompt. I have several of their pieces.

Here is my entrant.
It will be my first foray into a multi-media kit. I have little experience with PE and have never dealt with an aluminum barrel before.
I'm excited!

I really don't see the hesitation with granting this campaign, based on overlapping Campaigns
Let the membership decide what to build within the scope of the campaign guidelines.
Either way you can count me in on this one w/ a Tiger II

Cheers

Ok you got me thinking to build my favorite tank. The starting date is good so yes. A Tamiya KT with "Porsche turret" or a Revell Jagdtiger. This one is actually a Dragon kit without the PE.
CMOT, choose which one and i'm in if you want me aboard that is...

That would be nice but i cannot make such a promise. I think i'll go for the Porsche. A nice Ardene's whitewashed maybe from Kampfgruppe Peiper?
