Thanks Jonathan. Took off a bit more using isopropyl alcohol and cotton swab. Now it hit me -- less than a month to go before the deadline. Better get moving on the base as well... Cheers, Tat

Hi everyone,
I keep forgetting about this campaign due to Uni work and a Warhammer army i'm working on.
Very nice work on everything done so far though!
I hope to get some more progress done asap although its scary how quick the end date has come around, i haven't thought about groundwork or anything yet, better get moving!

Ive finished nine campaigns here in the last year and a half, did not finish two. and for whatever reason, usually the last month, even the last day, is the busiest. that seems to be the normal way.
part of the fun, and the value of a group build, is the pressure to finish at the end.

On a trip to my basement I found this 1/200 kit of a F117A Stealth Fighter which will be my entry for this campaign.

Hey Brent , that's excellent. I dont believe we have 1:200 represented in here yet.
Jesper the psychedelic colors are really eye opening!
that mud on the undercarriage looks great. In geotechnics that soil consistency is known as "puppy diarrhea", it can be very troublesome.

I assembled the F117A last night. It turned out to be a Dragon kit released by Italeri. As I was about to take these photos the front landing gear dropped off. I found it in the carpet and quickly reattached the 1/4 incl long part.

Interesting little kit, Brent. It will be a quick paint job!
I have finished my little Hetzer. It was very difficult to photograph due to its size, but I hope you like the pictures anyway.
A part from the terrible old rubber tracks the kit went together well. I finished it in an ambush scheme with fictional markings.
Comments welcome

Jesper: Looks good. The weathering really brought the colors together. It is almost huge!

Hello everyone here is an in progress of my 1/144 scale StrumTiger. this is a tiny kit.. but I think I managed to get a good photo of it.
Markings are applied and so far its lightly weathered. I may not go much further on the weathering as its hard to apply to this scale. And I'll say painting tools is hard enough in 1/35.. in 1/44 its a bit tiny.
The crane is now missing. I found a cat in my hobby closet and the model on the floor.. Looked all over for the tiny part, and interrogated the puddy, but she isn't talking.
hope to have the finished project in the gallery soon.

Hello,
Been on the slow side of things lately. Some progress pics:
I'd say the major weathering part is done, but will still need to do some bits of detailing / clean-up. Am now working on the base. My target is to finish everything within the week.
Cheers,
Tat

well, what a productive weekend! good work men!
First of all welcome back LesPaul James, as you see our little campaign is rolling along nicely. There is still plenty of time left, so carry on. Thats a very amusing looking truck. the sprue shots are indeed promising.
Brent Arritt, winning a throw with the Carpet Monster on the first day is good mojo bodes well for your outcome!
Jesper, the colors really did come together, I almost didnt believe...
Delbert, as always a subtle touch, congratulations on a nice finish
Tinbanger, nice tiny airliner ! Be sure to post in the gallery!
I would like to see a picture with a coin or something for scale reference if you felt like it, as said 1:300 is not a familiar size.
Lap Man, yes sir, glued together and ready for paint!
Tat Bacqui your efforts on that T34 have paid out, that thing is awesome. Looking forward to seeing the base.

hey Dan,
The plane looks good from here. that alone would earn you the campaign ribbon.
Will you be finishing that entire dio before the end of this campaign? I'd like see to that, especially the damaged KV1 when its done.
