Hello all, would anyone be interested in a campaign aimed at tanks 1/100 and below?
they are relatively cheap and quick to build, and can be great fun, Dioramas would be allowed, and i would say 6 months would be all that was needed to build these miniature vehicles.
Zvezda, Dragon, and trumpeter all do small kits, and some Naval model companies do 1/350 tanks. so the choice is there, come on, join in and have a bit of fun for cheap and earn a ribbon!

James when I saw the name of this I right away thought of Light Tanks like a h38 Hotchkiss or a Cv L3 Tankette I never though that someone would want to build an Tank Kit smaller then 1/72 scale. I personally stick to 1/35 scale so if you wanted to up the size, I would be in with a light tank but not a smaller than braille scale 1

Sal, the fun is that it is a branch away from everyones usual scale, I usually build 1/48 and 1/35, adding the larger scales would eliminate the point methinks!

I would be interested in this also,as I am finding myself enjoying the smaller scale stuff,and have not done anything smaller than 1/76th.

If I sneezed while working on anything smaller than (gulp) 1/76 I would loose the model ... FOREVER!!!!
Too bad ... I have a 4-pack of Lindberg tanks I need to build someday. But they are huge compared to this scale as they are 1/64.
Just a suggestion? Maybe open up the scale to exclusively include anything 1/64th and smaller?
And maybe start 2014?

I agree.I say stay small,maybe no bigger that 1/76, And the only reason I say that is because I am not having very good luck finding 1/100 and smaller on the web.Jeff T.

1/87 is pretty easy to find, but it's a bit on the pricey side. It's HO scale for model trains.

you fellas sure are twisting my arm here! but tbh it sounds good to me, would be nice to see some trains and stuff, and 1/144 Ac dont get the attention they deserve. It may need renaming though, any suggestions?
