Gary,

Nice job! Your airbrush work is fantastic. Did you shoot the green first and then the brown? Or large brown spots and then green centers?

Hello Kevin, Thanks my friend! I sprayed the brown pattern then filled in with green. I practiced last night and liked that method much better. I was honestly nervous but when I get goin it just all came together better than i hoped.

Cheers,
Gary

Gary your camo is great! How many models have you painted to get to that level?

Hi Luke, Ive been modeling about 5-6 years, but ive built ALOT of models in that time. Id say maybe...25-30. I had my nephew teaching me some techniques, tips and airbrushing from day one and it made my learning curve much easier. It also helps that i have great airbrushes. My main workhorse is an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS, and my detail/camo airbrush is an Iwata High Performance B-Plus. I have a Badger 150 but its relegated to ground/base work duty...not a very precise piece of equipment IMHO.

Thanks Luke,
Gary

Hello fellas,

I have finished the camo and applied Future gloss. While that dries ill paint the Tracks and wheels and other loose bits to be added later.

More to come!

Gary,

Great camo job!

My Marder I kit has too many problems with dimensional accuracy. I would like to build this one instead:

Gary: Just give up my friend. Clearly you have no business in this hobby. (I jest.)

Another stunning work from you. You should give Dragon a call.

Happy Modeling, -zon
