This arrived Today
I wonder if I can fit three builds in the campaign.
We'll see.
Cheers Rob.

Nice!
Storing these long, trailered monsters will be the issue.
May have to incude it on the same shelf my MAZ skud launcher will sit so only one transporter for me.

I hear you Jeff,
I do not have a place to store any completed models at the moment, I can see this becoming a major problem soon.
Cheers Rob.

Here's my first entry:
1/35 Trumpeter MAZ-537G w/MAZ/ChMZASP 5247G trailer.
I will be posing it with Trumpeter's 1/35 ASU-85 mod 1956 SPG on the bed.
If time allows, then I'll be doing Academy's 1/72 Dragon Wagon with a 1/72 DML M4A3 76mm Sherman.

@Rob
Good luck with your DragonWagon !
@Jon
Holy Plastic !
I got to follow this one.. that's going to be an amazing build!
@Matt
I have the exact same kit, but I still haven't joined, I have to finish 3 builds first... got to clear the bench just a little..
I was thinking to add the resin set wheels but 56€/76 USD is just too expensive for some wheels that will be covered in mud & dirt..
I will follow your progress for sure

Nice start Jon!
I am going to start with this one:
I will be taking it to work with me and will be figuring out a construction order and cleaning some parts.
Cheers Rob.

Sweet, looks like we’re off to a great start so far. Seems like we are going to have a lot of the MAZ and HET builds for this campaign.
Here is my build for this campaign, yes another MAZ, but I plan to back date it to a MAZ-535A prime mover used during the early 60’s. I’m even going to scratch build a light utility trailer for it. Still debating whether or not to build this as a civil or military version.

John, I realize that this thing has a BUNCH of wheels, but I can't justify that much for replacements. That's more than this thing cost me! Looking at cracking the box open tonight...been a long couple of weeks at work, and my bench actually gathered some dust.

Just a quick note to those building Trump's Maz-537:
In step 5 you glue part D47 to parts D44,D45 a #61 drill bit will open the holes on D44,D45 enough for D47 to sit flush.
Jon,
Nice progress!
Cheers Rob.

I'm with Phil, why waste the bandwidth posting identical photos
I will say this though: for those wondering, on the first three or four steps I averaged about an hour a step.
I have two questions for y'all, what is the proper name for the black vinyl "boots" between suspension arms and the frame AND what color should these end up when finished.
Currently pausing the tractor at the frame, I want to see what comes in the CPK kit from RealModels.

Thanks Jeff, no modifications, you just need to leave out the HB verison of an engine

Corsair....the correct name for the black vinyl boots is air bags and as far i know they should be black.....there is a walk around on prime portal if you need more references.

@ Jon- thanks for the info on your engine. I had already installed the fake engine..so that idea is out! Realized I had installed prt C14 incorrectly, the picture is really vague . Tip..if your front shocks seem too short..C14 is incorrect!

Already enlisted a while ago but I will be in with this offering:
Thinking of doing both of these just like this for the two birds, one stone thing. Have three other campaigns I am involved with right now and once those are in the final stages I will get this one rolling. Looking forward to seeing all of your various works. Cheers.
