Looks really nice Phill! love the darker shades in the paintjob.

Thanks Boris mate .. i am quite happy with how thats turned out too .. as for weathering i think i will go with heavy as these things are a magnet for mud but they look amazing covered in dust ..so i will go with that idea .
The load is gonna be cool ..its takin bloody hours to set the suspension and thats as much as i am gonna say about that

Neil mate its all good ..the Famo with the sonderanhanger 116 trailer always look very cool
To be honest i have been wanting to see one of these in 72nd scale so will follow your build with interest

Hi guys,

Here is my entrance for this campaign.

It will be either a Famo or a Famo with the trailer. I just bought Tamiya's Famo with trailer and had Tamiya's Famo kit from a few months ago. I will start with the Famo and if I have time will do also the trailer.

Most likely I will start at the beginning of next year because right now I am in the process of transfering to a new position.

I will be using also voyager photoetch. I still need to order it.

Does anybody have any information of the trailer or a book that can recommend to me?

Good luck to everybody with your buildings,
Angel

Phil- nice work on the MAZ, I feel your pain w/ the suspension..mine was time consuming. The subtle shading looks excellent

I really should order the RM interior set for the HET..before I fill the shelf w/ something else!

Hey Jeff mate ,, Thanks dude the colour turned out pretty cool and better than i expected so i am more than chuffed about that .
The suspension on the MAZ went without a hitch ,,the suspension on my load tho was a huge pain in the ass but i did manage to get it set really well ..,sits on the trailer really well

Hi Rob & crew,

I know this is a Transporter campaign, and my Faun will get built for it eventually, but do you mind if I "clear my throat" with a related tractor-trailer build - the Revell/Renwal M65 Atomic Annie rig? Just picked it up, and it is busy muscling its way to the top of the build pile! How can I resist? Not one, but TWO tractors? Shall I post progress here, or is it too OT?

Tom,
That is fine, it also says Heavy Equipment transports so any large military vehicles for hauling really heavy loads is what this campaign is about.

Cheers Rob.

Is this partially started kit (Dragon Wagon) acceptable to the campaign?

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Boris,
No, no progress still waiting for a shipment to arrive. It has the engine for my Maz and two detail sets for the Het. That and I have six campaigns I am trying to finish that end by the new year.

Cheers Rob.

Been holding out on you guys but I am working on a bit of a kit bash project as I want to use the trailer from the FAUN kit and then use my MAZ-543 TEL tractor from the SCUD kit.

I haven't worked out the details on the fifth wheel and all but it will be more of a transporter and not a retriever, so no unnecessary equipment will be needed like the winch.

Now I just need to get to opening some bags now, huh.
