work progresses on the Faun. Have made slow but steady progress on the trailer after adding the air and hydraulic lines on the bottom as well as the lines in the goose neck. The bulk of the work on the trailer is done just the ramps and all the taillights and doo dads on the rear and we are moving on to the cab. My goal is to get those parts on by end of week, time permitting, and then get a coat of primer on it. Once the primer is on we can work on a base coat, but probably gonna wait until the cab is done so that I do not have to make two batches of paint. Cheers.
Non skid on the trailer was done using the "Martha Stewart" method. PM me for details.

Sorry for the late reply here are the instructions and what I have got so far, I have tried a round toothpick the pen seems to work better but I need one with a smaller more pronounced ball.
I have been working on the Het as well and have cleaned up all the parts for the frame and suspension everything up to step 8 I think.
Cheers Rob.

Been almost a month without word, what's up? I have started back on the faun after my Tiran 5 build review for the site. Tonight I began work on the cab interior. I already managed to lose one interior part, so fun that. In am reworking the cabin Doris as the interior of the doors is poor. My hope is to now have the trailer arriving to make a pick up as there are many parts that do not end them selves to being deployed rather than stowed. So heading into the scratch building territory at least in a minor way. Not trying to make this a bigger project than it already is but sometimes you just have to. Will try to get some pics up soon. How is everyone else's build going? Cheers.

Construction began on the chassis last night. The cab is done and clear gloss coat added in anticipation of weathering. The outside will wait until I am ready to paint as I do not want to add the glass and have to mask everything. Also there are a few PE item that need to be added and will be easily knocked off by handling so erring in the side of caution. Started with the rear deck where the diamond plate goes around the winch well. Diamond plate was a large piece of PE from the Lion Roar set and was a good fit, just a pain to glue down. All for now, cheers.

This build really got away from me, and I forgot to take pics of my progress. But here's one quick one from today. The frame and winch area were finished a few months ago...After the winch assembly was finished I was so frustrated with the kit that it went back onto the shelf for a while. I brought the kit with me to university to slowly work on through the year when i have down time. Today i worked on the cab and the wheels and here's were we are now

Some more progress, finished the goose neck. Still need to do the air lines, and the PE stairs but need to finish the air lines first..
