Hello chaps,
Quite late to the fray. Some superb models here, very inspirational. I'm a novice modeller and I thought I'd give this campaign a go to test what I've learned in the last 8 months or so.
After seeing some of the more exotic models (to me anyway) I'm almost embarrassed to present to you the Airfix Reconnaissance Set
As it's 2 vehicles, if time allows, I'll probably try to make this into some kind of vignette.

Hi Kevin,
this is the last place where you can get embarrassed. Just get cutting and gluing, everything will be fine I am sure
Cam, cool Rolls you have there, nice job
Chris, beautiful camo job, that looks just excellent
Jose, a stunning Striker there
Marcos a sweet little kit there, she will look just great
Cal. Greg, looks like there some fab detail on that 1/48, it's almost the same as the 1/35 scale
Viktor, watch out when attaching the running gear, it's a pigs ear and likes to break or get deformed.

Cam your Rolls turned out perfectly. I would love to add one of these to my collection some day.
Jose the stryker turned out nicely.
Viktor how does the details and build compare to the older AFV Club’s weasel 1?
Well progress has been slow with my crazy work schedule, I have managed to nock out my figures and some gear for the build. The figures are Bravo 6, blackdog and verlinden. The gear is a mixture of verlinden, legends and blackdog. I working on a simple diorama base for the AML to sit on.

I have all four Wiesel at home, but didn`t build the AFV Wiesel.
The Revell Wiesel didn`t include interior.
Details are good, if you now Revell details of alderly models.
My both builded Wiesel 2 you can find here:

Nice job on the figures Christopher. I look forward to following the rest of your build.
I put my Rolls in a simple diorama and will now call it done. This was one of those projects that kept crying out for attention and time on the bench. Now I have to ask forgiveness in the "Only Sherman Tanks" campaign.
I hope that everyone enjoys the end phase of this campain as much as I did.

Christopher really nice dio planned there. Figure colors are great
Cam. Those are some beautiful palm trees. Don't feel bad about the Sherman campaign as I've neglected that one and this one
Paul. I bet the part count is close on the 48 and 35 bronco stag

Nice Honey with all the scratch built parts! sometimes think that scratch building is a lost skill due to all the aftermarket stuff! It's nice to see people till trying o do it the old fashion way!! Have Fun!!

Cam great job on the Rolls. I see that we both will have palm trees in our dio’s.
Subin that some hell of work on the honey stuart, nice bit of extra detail to a somewhat okay model.
Thanks guys for the comments so far. I’m about 90% complete with the aml build; still have some last minute tweaks to make. I’ve started my final layouts for the diorama as I’m going to use an older base that I started for another to save on time. I’ve also added two new figures to the group from Ant Miniatures. Not 100% correct but have that anti-riot look to them. One reason why I like building Lebanese is the simple fact they have mixed gear from US, Israel, and other suppliers.

Well it's been a busy week but I managed to get the chassis of my Hobbyboss Landrover RSOV done:
Fit of all the parts is excellent. It's unusual frm my experience on a kit of this size to have the main chassis as so many parts with 2 parts for each side and all the cross beams separate, but they went together no problem and it seems to be sitting square on all 4 wheel hubs. Now, on to the body....

The engine all ready to be closed up....
The body colour is a bit too black but it does have a nice texture not visable in the picture. It's Revell enamel No 9 applied by brush. It's an all black vehicle but I'm trying to add some interest with different shades and textures before I even get to the weathering
And this is some of the accessories that come with the kit:
The paint guide would have all these the smae colour as the body but I'll use the normal green for ammo and tan for the water cans

Just a small update on the build. Been doing some work on the base, I’ve added some vegetation to one corner using kamizukuri paper and grass products and the palm tree is from joefix studios.
