This is not my entry, but I thought I would present my one week build. A paper panzer, just because I wanted to do something, in my own style.

Hey matt, that beast is looking pretty good and unique. Build on and have fun!
Eugene, from one solider to another, welcome home!
Got the tracks and road wheels painted enamel flat black from a spray can. This is the only time I will ever use a spray can. The rest will be done with air brush or by hand. Hopefully I will start to airbrush by this weekend.

cheers Jeff... have a ways to go before it can be painted... if i get the fender on tonight I will look at the first spare wheel securing point... new idea is to have one in front of eh LHS "pannier" (like a T-bar) but have it empty. the wheel will be the spare one fitted to replace a damaged one - whitewashed when it "was" a spare so it willh ave the marks for the "straps" still as grey but white elsewhere... I know what I mean, it will show up when painted...

Rob: The welds look good to me. I thought the fenders were supposed to be sandwiched between the hull halves.

nope, they have supports that fix to the side.. or at least that is how I have interpreted the instructions ;-) (have already made 2 mistakes, luckily rectified) as I mis-read/mis-understood the instructions.....)

Well here's a lil update....
Cammo applied, decals affixed, muffler baked lol.
Homemade dark green was brushed on in a striped pattern, then a dark wash was applied lightly over the entire tank. Decals - After a little research I found that this 411 tank was from the Grossdeutschland I added the insignia to the front and rear fenders.
The muffler - a rusty brown paint was allowed to dry then I came back with a mixture or the same color and added a bit for baking soda to give the muffler a rough effect.... allowed to dry. A dark colored wash was then allowed to dry followed by a dry brush using rusty color chalk. Also dry brushed a little of the dark yellow.
More weathering is in store, but I'd like for the it to appear as though its just entering battle for the first time.
Only 100 of these were built in early 43, they didn't last long because of the short range 50 - 60 meters.
I'm surprised the Germans didn't upgrade the pump to make the range more effective. Flame throwers are very effect in braking moral!
But they also draw artillery
Also thinking of a diorama - Assault Engineer escorts with a building background.
Not sure if its gunna be a farm structure or village/city setting.
Will probably add more figures as well.

Completely understandable.
Gary C: I really like the camo. The figures are a great adornment.
All: I just ordered my panzer III ausf. E/F. It's a Cyber-Hobby orange box. I have some universal parts, in my stash. May opt for some photo-etch.

Less than 3 weeks into this campaign and up to page 12? Alright!
@Matt; Love the paper panzer, can't wait to see the final product.
Here is my entry.
I chose this kit because I did a PZ III some time ago in the same unit markings and cammo scheme, and now I want to do it's Pz IV stablemate.

Gary I like the camo on you flammpanzer. The figures are a nice touch.
Guy, very nice looking panzer iii ausf n, I almost did that same panzer IV ausf g kit for this campaign but my wife wanted me to do the panzer iii ausf j. I have to make her happy.

Mike if your wife is that much into tanks she's definitely a keeper! I have been working on vehicle ID skills with mine!
