Hello friends!

Before to start the painting, I applied a coat of Surface Primer grey from Vallejo.

I got started on my Stug,so far it has been going well.It is very detailed and for me it is taking a careful read of the instructions. No assembly problems. The waffle zimm with it's damage and irregular pattern looks good.It even has an interior to the fighting compartment. Here are some pics:

@ Thanks Jeff - It is good for me, the only problem is that it dried quickly, but I solved the problem soaking the nozzle with water.

@ Anthony, nice work

Rodolfo - thats one neat looking scheme.....

last night I attached the first fender. decided it was time to break out the plastic and copper sheets and see just how bad I can ruin this... first fender lost rear "mudflap", had a bit of damage on the sides (dont like that part - just looks like someone attacjked it with a hammer) and the front part replaced with copper and damaged (same - loosk more haphazard but i guess months of abuse may give this). 2nd fender will be missing the full front and be a bit damaged at the rear....

(like I said, not happy with this last one.....)

- Rodolfo -Nice job on your StuG's camo!

Dave:A Dio would be cool. The closest I've come to doing one has been the old Revell 1/76th kits that come with a base.
Alvaro:Fine choice.I see you have some fuel drums there too.Are you planning a dio also?
FirstSergeant:I'm very glad to see some one else doing a braille scale build Look for an update on mine later this evening.Jeff T.

WOW Dave that is an oldie!! My memory isn't that good but I seem to remember that one from back in my youth.

I like the diverse models being built in this campaign, I've put a couple on my Xmas list.

Rodolfo: nice camo pattern; I like it.

Anthoy: That Stug with Zimm is a good kit. I just completed that same kit about two months ago.

Robert: liking the copper fender.

So far I've made some progress; I've been able to assemble the wheels, tracks, most of the hull, even made a scratch built box for the rear deck based on some photos and tonight I preshaded the tracks before putting on the fenders. Now I'll assemble the rest of the fenders and glue the upper and lower hulls together.

thanks.

Hello friends!
@ Anthony, Matt, Dave and Kevin, thanks for your kind comments!.

@ Dave.- nice armor, it was of my first builts.
@ Douglas.- good choice
@ Kevin.- very good updates.

More updates:

Painting the details as wheels, hatches and rollers using Vallejo. The periscopes of the cupola: interior painted with steel-blue of Humbrol and for the exterior I used my old trick of gift paper.

Kevin: Nice work Man.The tracks and roadwheels look good and the box gives it a different look
Rodolfo:That's a great trick with the periscopes, now I have to raid our Christmas paper collection to see if I can find some.My Wife will love Me for that
Your paint work is pretty sweet, but if I could make a suggestion about the insides of the hatches. And correct Me if I'm wrong but I think I have heard in the past somewhere that the insides of them where painted the same color as the outside of the tank,so they wouldn't show up as much when seen from the air.
