Thanks fellas, but after talking with a good friend and looking at it myself, I noticed it was a bit heavy handed and I didn't like the look. So I cleaned it up and decided to redo it.

Here are the redone pictures. It's just lightly applied.

Thoughts?

Thank you all for the kind comments.

I've managed to finish this without making it look like a turd.

This has been one of the more difficult builds I've done. AFV Club did a great job on these Stryker kits. They are very detailed. I plan on building more of these variants. The build went fairly smooth and I feel like I did a pretty good job and stepped up my game to try new techniques. That being said I feel like I could have done a better job still on the dusting and I wish I would have turned the front four wheels. A load of gear would have really set this off, but that can be added later.

Thanks for putting on this campaign and letting me be a part of it.

Cheers

groups of 10 links becomes 50

Primed,

painted

Comparison with the AFV band tracks, Bronco indy links on top with the kit tracks below, both have been painted in the same colour, Tamiya Gun Metal

and finally, Installed!

Turret nearing completion

I know that at least part of the whole frame system by the Bren gun is wrong, and I really have no idea how the whole thing is supposed to work.

And Complete!

Photos have been uploaded to the campaign gallery. I quite like this kit though a bit disappointed that the interior wasn't more substantial.

Seems that Daniel and Pawel have nearly cornered the market on Fine Interior detailing!!

Plus, great finishes, Tom and Iain!

Unfortunately, Daniel will find the bulkhead in front of the IR light will hide all his work. I started doing my interior until dry fitting showed me I didn't need to spend so much time on it.

That's probably true of most this series of half-tracks, regardless of brand....but at least he (and we) will know what a nice job is down there!
