Looking very fine, Peter!
You have 2 more days to lay some paint on

Just curious(I know it killed the cat )-where do you plan using this Camera set?

No moggies were hurt in the filming of this movie....

Circumstantial evidence only. Battery pack gone, cat in modelling room. 1 + 1 = culprit.

He is still alive... he is a VERY large cat. Our Vet has never seen a larger one that is not just fat. This and having led a long life hunting our large marsupials, with more scars than skin, it would be a brave man that tried to harm him...

I am building a Matchbox Citroen 11 Legere for the Matchbox Group Build I am hosting here. I am building it as a "confiscated by Germans and pressed into use by a propaganda unit" little dio. The camera and fittings are to be used in the dio. See here:

I see

Not long ago, the cat of a modelling buddy of mine ate out the barrel of the Leoplod gun he was doing in 1:72.
Then he bought a metal barrel and said to the cat- "Try this again now!".

Well, the cat did not try on the metal barrel, but did try on an almost finished 1:700 submatine...

Cats- they're much more clever than we think!

It will be a cool dio,Peter!

Too smart by far.... smarter than us.

Think about it. They lie around all day, get fed and get attention. They don't 'fetch' or do any interaction with us but demand ... and we still keep them as pets.

My cats pushed my favorite old RS-3 diesel off the layout and then my dog chewed it like a bone!

What are ya gonna do!

I don't suppose I could ask for just a little more time for this campaign? Say like one more week?

In the US our income tax deadline is April 15 and that has been a conflict for me in completing my project!

My Callsign is partly named after my second Cat. Speedy, (J added and you have my favorite DJ from Techno Parties), was a real lady, when I was at home. Leaving my apartment and I always waited one floor below, she got naughty, going every where I did forbid. But after al those years, she did not damage anything.
When at work at my modeling table she could come to watch, but did not reach out to something, just amazed by what I was doing. Once had a fight with her, gave me some nasty wounds on my arms, but I finally got her by the neck. and managed to get her in a corner of the couch. Good and firm talk, kept looking into those magic Cat eyes and she gave up, she winked and looked down. Won the battle.

Cats...

Will another week(till April 22nd) be enough for you, Mike?
Can't promise, but it won't hurt me asking John.

I see, Robert!

Please accept my sincere thanks for allowing the community to follow the build of your great WHIF vehicle!
I hope to see you again- sometime in the future - in a possible sequel.

Thanks Kalin

I just noticed I didn't touch up some of the black on the tripod legs. Masking tape curled up and let some paint run.

Still don't think I will get the TAS 44-M finished in time (if I just do detail painting and no oil filter i "might").... but so you can see how it is close to the end of the campaign:

Matt coat on, detail painting started.... don't think I will do oil streaking this time around but happy for you all to try to persuade me:

Looking very, very good, Robert!

Finished entry should be painted, while weathering is optional. So I think yours is almost finished!
You just need a small final push, mate!

I'll be very happy to award you the ribbon

if I can get the wheels finished tomorrow along with more detail (rusty tracks & exhausts, work on tracks (still too uniform colour)) then the rest Saturday afternoon I should be good... I reckon any personal weathering I want to do can be done as a side project....
