Hi guys, i'm looking at some great entries here!
I'm ashamed to say that i will have to shelve my TD entry : M-18 Hellcat. I wont have so much time to model because of my new job.
So, i would like to change my previous entry to a 1/72 scale DML StuG IV (since i'm halfway finishing that one). The StuG IV late can be considered a tank destroyer right?

Most definitely agree with SpiritsEye. This Campaign is looking fantastic with the quality of builds we're lucky to follow. I'm hoping to get back on track after the 4th of July, but running two baseball tournaments over the holiday is taking away my modeling time for now. managed to get road wheels done and work on diorama figures some. For those that might be interested, I found an outstanding reference for German tracked tank destroyers in the Miniature Models in Review (MMIR) book "Modeling Guide to JagdPanzers". They cover the Hetzers, JagdPanzer IV variants, Ferdinand/Elephant, JagdPanther, and JagdTiger builds in great detail with plenty of AM and PE info/photos as well as actual photos. Great source and convinced me to add some more details to my Dragon JagdPanther. So after the latest Am parts arrive and get added, I should be ready to paint. Hope to have some pictures posted soon. Keep them inputs coming in, outstanding stuff out there.

HI
Just a few more pieces to add then I am ready to paint ..
Pretty well OOTB but I did add some Aber screens, Fruil large idler, Elefant barrel, Gum Ka MG cupola and MA drive sprockets. I textured the mantlet with some Mr Surfacer.
HOPEFULLY my AB won't act up ......

Here (if I can get the pic to work) is my Elefant TD entry so far. Basic paintwork is done and a first light coat of Klear. Since the pic was taken it's had those lights removed, some paint touch-ups and another Klear.

Well here's an update from the grumpy old dude:
Working on the base, vehicle almost finished except weathering, which needs the base done first......
I should have base and vehicle finished on time, not sure about the figures though. (I'm really slow with figures).
Anyway enough babble, here is a shot or two, more in my gallery under this campaign title.

I can't continue on my 251/22 because I have to wait for some brass bolts for the PAK40 gunshields. The plastic ones in the kit are just useless, not only because of detail, but also because they're just too small to clean up etc.
So....I'll finish it after I'm back from my holiday!

My M36B1 TD is about 80% done.Weathering,a little more gear, some cammo netting,yada-yada.Some fig work and a little odds and ends work on the dio base to go also.No pics as I did not get the digi cam for Fathers day like I requested .
From what I see from these threads is there must be an entire platoon of Jagdpanthers in the works! :-) :-) A pretty good matchup I'd say!
cheers!

Well I must say that this campaign seems to be bringing out the best in everybody. There are such good builds here!
So to bring it all down a bit, here's mine...
still needs crew, more stowage and dirt... slowly slowly. If only time wasn't so precious!

Yes, but I can't upload them them on the internet.
I've only work on the weathering.
And a Canvas cover. That is allready made but proberbly with the wrong material, so maby I've to remake that.

Grypho,
this looks excellent so far. The only thing is, when looking at the Flammvernichter covering the exhaust I can still see some of the original tan-plastic color. Is that to be painted over or not? I am just wondering...
And yes, the joy of roadwheels... It might be a consolation to you, but the Tiger I and Tiger II are worse.... For the rest, this looks like an excellent build so far.
I hope this helps a little,
Harm

Report to the commander of the Panzer Jaeger Abteilung "Armorama"
Herr Generalmajor,
I am able to report some progress on the build of the new model Panzer Jaeger. All the workers have finished with their education for this semester. Unfortunately they seem a little burned out at the moment. I have been told however that by next Thursday things should progress more rapidly.
The good news though is is that a new welding technique seems to have been developed. It is now being tested on an Sd.Kfz. 234/1, before being applied to the Panzer Jaeger vehicle. We hope to start assembly of the gun by next Thursday, and perhaps do some welding as well.
With kind regards,
Helmut
Basically I had built much of the armor superstructure, and started the gun-mount. However, I have decided to use the update-set for the howitzer carrying vehicle, and solder it together. This means that some of the work I have done has been done for nothing (on the other hand, the give me test objects for airbrushing). I am trying my soldering out on the Sd. Kfz. 234/1. I hope te be able to dome more work next Thursday and Friday.

Hilbert The Roumanian army had a total of 40 of these TD's built They used the 35(t) hull and the Soviet 76mm They didn't see too much action from what little info I can get It won't have any camo It will be plain green
The fit hasn't been too bad It did require test fitting of parts Especially the interior The hull interior did not come with the kit That is from the CMK kit of a 35(t) ARV kit
