Ribbons for those who deserve them!!!Hi all!
I just want to mention that I have finally managed - with the good help of
TedMamere - to award all those that finished the campaign. Look in your profile and you should find a nice and shiny Suez ribbon. - Initially, I wanted to distribute different values (gold, silver and bronze) depending on the number of entries:
Even though some were close (
gbkirsh with three entries,
Betheyn and
India11A with two each,
MagnusF with one finished and a whole bunch on the workbench etc) there were no grand slams. Thus, I've decided to award
everyone the gold ribbon!
We are still counting on
Cyberwombat to finish his
British Centurion this week. If completed, he will also receive a ribbon.
Finally, I must say that it has been a true pleasure to host this campaign (even though my own modelling career has temporarilly been put on hold). The interest in the subjects, the sharing of information and advice, the encouragement of the fellow modellers etc have all contributed to make this a great experiance and a succesful campaign. Not to mention all the fantastic entries!!!
We managed to gather aircraft from all the nations participating in the conflict, and with the aforementioned Centurion, we'll have ground targets from them all as well!
Cheers!

Ps. A final summary will be posted in a week or so.
