Hello chaps ... my entry is now complete. Thread can be seen HERE.
First time I ever finished one in good time. I was thinking about building Dragons flak 88 as well, but want to finish up some other items before I commit again!

@Warlord and Danial--I wont start until after february first--I need to order a PE set for the model anyway.

@Warlord--I will enlist and hope to make the build within 4 months--I'm in the construction field and sometimes I dont have time for building models if things get "busy". I will try to finish it up tho! I intend to build the Tamiya Sd. Kfz 7/1 8 ton Flakvierling

does anyone know if there is a company other than friulmodels who make individual track links for the Sd. Kfz 7/1 8 ton Flakvierling?? I've been looking online as time permits and haven't found anything yet. Thanks for any responses to this.

Hey Patrick, I've had a bit of a look around and couldnt find anyone other than Fruil doing AM tracks for that kit, now i was sure Model Kasten did but came up empty looking for them, maybe you can use tracks for the 251 as I believe them to be almost if not identical, of course I could be wrong on that, might be worth some investigation.

I decided to build a WW2 Bofors gun in Swedish colours. As always it will be smallscale. This time an 1/76 scale Airfix kit.
I havn't started yet so I just throw in a picture of an old build.
It is a WW1 AA gun on a bus chassie. Scratch built.

Not meaning to be a spoil-sport, but a few years ago, items like this were thrashed out (discussed).
It ws a big NO to using the same model to get two ribbons.
One model, one campaign, one ribbon.
The whole idea behind the campaigns was to get people building, not giving away ribbons easily. A ribbon had to be earned. It might have changed somewhere in between, but I never heard of it.
As Jeremy has taken over control of the campaigns, this decision should probably rest with him.

The final decision is on campaings leaders so I think it's fair, but thank you for your opinion.
You earned for you ribbon for this campaing, Frank. Really nice work.

Hi Jerry,

Posting progress pics or pics of unassembled kit is not necessery. All you need to complete the campaing is to post at least one image of your finished model.

I have always been interested in Flak. By a coincidence I became aware of the campaign Achtung Jabo on Armorama (Today, Feb. 7, 2007).

The object on my workbench is an german SWS Flak 43 with a 3,7cm gun. I started to build the kit on Jan. 10th 2007. The SWS is sprayed with Tamiya surface primer and its ready for some serious airbrushing.

The vehicle will be positioned on a flatbedded railway wagon (Dragon: Schwerer Plattformwagen SSy) with some smoking figures.

Well I figured out how to get the photo here, now all I have to do is open the box and build it. It must be fairly obscure, because I was unable to locate any info about it in my reference books. Anybody have any input?

That's because it was cancelled.

They should have just bought the Gepard.

But I was surprised when I found some pictures:

You can dig around some more. Just look for Sgt. York DIVAD (Division Air Defense).

They basicly fu%$^* up on that one. It never worked as it should and was cancelled as has already been pointed out. I saw one at the Aberdeen prowing grounds. I think some of the pictures Ptruhe linked to is of this vehicle.

Anyway, it is a cool vehicle and has a colourful, if short, story behind it.

Thanksfor the info on good old Sgt York. The photos are very helpful. It is an odd looking piece of equipment and should make a good conversation piece. thanks again for the help!

Hi,
I have a little problem with the CMK Mobelwagen. I just can't put the gun together; the instructions are b-a-d.
Could someone please give me some hints?

Are you interested in publishing Feature article or On Display here on Armorama? Don't you want to share your work with fellow modelers, show advatages and disadvates of a kit you're building?
There is a simple way to achive that. All you have to do is start your own blog with your build on Feedback Forum and who knows, maybe you'll be the one who will have a chance to write and publish your articles on Armorama, maybe this is your big chance.
I encourage you to start a build report with many pictures and your remarks on build.
We are all waiting for your blog.

I did it a few times, but no one was interested enough to actually leave a feedback...
